>Linux is less secure than Android
That's a bold claim. I would say they are evenly matched. On the RAM management / access and app confinement, Android has the advantage. From what I know, Android also has some setting somewhere to encrypt your data, but I haven't used it and I'm not sure it's available on every flavor. As for Linux, if you know what you are doing, it shouldn't be hard to lock down your Linux phone, it would just be -clunky, - like using a keyboard to enter an encryption passphrase for LUKS at boot and maybe having the boot partition on a separate storage device, like an SD card that you can take out of your device. I'm not sure about the status of bootloader signing on Linux phones.
The best mobile security is to not have a mobile device though. And I really encourage people to try to live without a phone for at least a week (if you go out, leave your phone at home, pretend it's a landline.

2: 08 Correction: OEMs don't get delayed updates from Google. Google provide security updates to all OEMs privately and even many times OEMs released security updates before Pixel too. Google actually releases security patch update publicly on 1st Monday of the month everytime at 10: 30AM PST and then custom ROMs like LineageOS give delayed updates. Since 4-5 months Samsung is releasing security patch updates days before Pixel for their flagship so the blame for delayed updates should be on OEMs not Google. AFAIK Disclosing vulnerabilities publicly without telling the company which may possibly affect them isn't common practice in the security researcher industry.

You can root your phone, remove google services and install microG and use Aurora Store to get google playstore's apps on your phone and yet still can have the same phone, ofc use Root very cearfully. In addition, you can change the IMEI of device.
I think these are good ways to make privacy better.
What do you think? Is it enough?

I am really excited to hear about CaylyxOS! I've been looking for something like this for a long time and the only thing I could find information about was the Linux which as you noted are not ready to be used yet. I'm really enjoying this series. My next phone will be a phone that can handle it. So surprising that it would be a Google phone

Wow what a rough video. Should have just rewritten your script and re-recorded it. Having very important clarifications in pop-up captions every three seconds because you didn't edit your script correctly is poor work. You're better than that.

Since 90% of android phone are not pixel, Graphene OS and Cyalx OS doesn't support other phones! As for me official Lineage OS is available, what's your opinion? I'm using a Xiaomi device so custom ROM is my last stop!

So you\re saying Android roms like graphine OS are more secure then Linux? Really? I'm going to need to see your sources. What do you base this assertion on? Usability, ok you have a case but security?
