I'm really interested in trying this! As a teacher in virtual school, we have to do synchronous lessons with the students and asynchronous that they do on their own. This will be an excellent way for me to teach a short lesson, they can watch then do an assignment. Also, if they need to, they can watch over and over until they understand the concept. Kevin, your videos have REALLY helped me the past couple weeks to get ready for this AND I've been able to teach other teachers how to navigate Teams! Thank you so much for posting these!

Kevin can you answer Lisa's question -Is there a way to hide the participants when recording? As a teacher, I want to have the video for students who miss the class but we cannot record students for privacy reasons.-
I'm in the same boat. Recording feature does not help teachers if students are being recorded.

I have a question, i'm a student and it's hard not interrupt the class whenever i'm asking my teacher to record so i decided i should be the one to do it,
So i started recording, is it okay if i close the window ( ms teams ) to for like example, open google, etc? Will the recording get that too or not?

Thanks Kevin for another great video. What is according to you the best way to share the Stream recording of a meeting to a wide audience (preferably using Teams)? The purpose would be that the ones who missed the meeting are able to look at the video/recording and find those links quickly. Cheers

Hi, my TEAMS version doesn't show the Share, Get Link, and Stream options in -other options- after I finish recording, even when I'm the organizer of the meeting. Shall I download another version or do I have to activate this feature somewhere?

Question. I recorded a session today and hung up. It turns out, an attendee stayed on for 7 hours. The recording only shows 3 hours of this person's face and none of the meeting itself.
Can anything be done to get the actual meeting part?

Hi Kevin, thanks for the video. Is there a possibility to keep the recording of a Teams meeting private for only the person who records? Sometimes there's a need to record the meeting but not share it with the attendees of the meeting.

Hi, How do we default the recording setting?. i.e. as we start the session, the recording should start automatically (without me having to click on it) + the notification should show up that the meeting is getting recorded.

I've tried to record the presentation of a TEAMS meeting without the attendees pane appearing in the recording, but have been unsuccessful. Is there a way to it? If so, can you let me know?
