Hi Kevin, have you come across any issues with Money in Excel since yesterday (Oct 1, 2021). I'm getting a 503 nginx error every time I open my budget or even when I try to create a new workbook with this template. Not sure who I can turn to for support. I already tried the Microsoft 365 support but that was a frustrating, painful experience that went nowhere! The tech didn't have a Personal or Family account to troubleshoot nor did she know anything about Money in Excel or 503 web server errors or anything. If you have any suggestions on how I can get this issue resolved, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Kevin - I got really excited when I saw the title - that is because I have been using the old Microsoft Money for may years, and have a great deal of financial data held in the application. I have been crossing my fingers every time there is a new OS to hope that it still runs, and so far it does. I hoped that in some way this could import my old Money data - seems not. Oh well!!
I know that I should swap to current application, but I really do not want to re-learn a new application. I will have to do it at some time

Hi Kevin, I very much enjoy your videos. I've been using this utility for a year and have liked it a lot. However, on trying to open it today (I use the Excel web version) I am now getting an Add-In error, i.e. -We couldn't connect to the 'Office Store' catalog server for this add-in. I checked the obvious, i.e., Internet connection, logged into account,etc.. but I can't seem to get this to work any longer. Are there any recent issues with the service? Or, can you give me a hint as to who to contact? Thank You.

Can I edit the -pre-set- category names to ones I choose? AND I've noticed when using customized categories as additional posts occur it appears that -the system- uses the -default category assignment- I'd sure like those events to be perpetual so I don't have to edit EVERY line item as it enters into the system? OR am I missing something in settings to make that happen?

Kevin, I have two problems with money in decline. 1. It shows my credit card payments but no way to break down the charges into the act for accuracy of spending. 2. My one credit card I use for most payments does not sync with this. Is there a way to manually enter in these charges? on the cards that do sync, same problem, lump sum but can-t break it down in the budget?

Barely helpful video. This just goes over the most basic information that I figured out just by using the program. Like really? How to get money on Excel? How to connect an account? This is baby information anyone could figure out. I was hoping you'd go in depth on how to properly use this software and its money feature seeing as how its so confusing and unintuitive.

Looks like way too much for me. I track everything in 365 Excel. I only worry that Excel doesn't like my formula for my bank account, but I just tell it to ignore the formula. It seems to work for me. I would like to get a little better picture, Money looks like overkill to me. I really liked Works for Windows 4.5, but I guess those days are gone.

Kevin thanks for the informative video. I just thought you'd like to know that the word P-L-A-I-D is pronounced -pa-lad- as in the term -Scottish Plaid- and not pronounced played. Meaning the past tense of play. You're a smart guy and should sound smart when you can. Just saying.

Any idea on a solution for this problem... I connect my bank info and my checking account shows up as -Cash Account- and it doesn't pull any debit transactions. This is not pulling my income. I can't change the type of account because I added it by logging in to the bank.
