I want to use MS Bookings so that students can self register for online classes that occur monthly. Is MS Bookings set-up for group bookings, such as an online class? I noticed that if no one signs up for a class, it doesn't show on the MS Bookings calendar. So there is no way to see the set class time, if no one books. I find that all of the information does not display on the Customer tab, such as the required phone number. The answers to the additional questions do not display on the customer tab. I have to go into the scheduled date, find the customer and use the edit function to see the answers. MS bookings does not seem to be functioning in an intuitive manner. Suggestions welcome.

Hi Keven Very helpful video thanks. We just got Outlook 365 and would like to use Bookings for monthly training events - these are set sessions so most of the time there wouldn't be anything bookable - is there an easy way to make all the calendar unavailable and then just make each training session available for booking? It doesn't link to our staff availability as we get outside professionals to deliver the events. I looked through all the questions and comments and saw you replied it wasn't really designed for that but given that there are a number asking for it I'm hoping things have moved on in a year...

Thanks for the useful video. I've just set up my first page, created 2 services and created 2 dummy employees, attaching each to the services. Whenever I publish the page and try to book an appointment it always says no staff are available and I'm not sure why. When I go into each employee staff > availability even if I put match business hours or custom hours and save, with the employee status as green and bookable, nothing appears available on the published page. Anyone have any suggestions?

Awesome! Per my understanding, MS Bookings is for business accounts. How about those who have consumers accounts who would like to book meetings with family members or friends in different time zones? I have a consumer account, using 1 TB for each account of my family member, Do I have to get a business plan to get MS Bookings? Is there another app in MS 365? Thank you.

I want to use bookings for events where the date and time are set, for example, a training session. I can see how to limit participant numbers which is great, but how do I create a link that can be sent to people who might want to attend so that they can book themselves into the planned session? I cant seem to see the answer to this anywhere.

Great series of videos and thanks so much - we are a franchise location so we have our Exchange email and calendar with the Franchise e-mail address. Our version of MS Office is only for our office - and those email inboxes are generally not monitored.... my question is can we set up bookings to use our exchange calendars from the franchise?

When you send out a booking to a parent does the parent see the teacher email address or do they see a generic email address?
If two teachers in the same department/subject create a booking schedule, does the available booking time link with each teacher's booking calendar? Thanks for creating great video's Kevin.

Thanks for the great video, Kevin. I'm hoping you can answer my question. Is there a way for a parent to book more than one staff member for the same meeting? For example, I want to book a conference for my child with the math and English teacher at the same time. How would the school set that up to make it possible?

Very limited and not suitable for what I need it for.... Shame because it integrates nicely with the rest of the Microsoft suite.
I was exploring using this for a training centre but we have courses that run for 5 days but I want to be able to book ONLY on the first day. This is not possible with Bookings :(

Hi, part of managing appointments is canceling appointments both by Admin, Staff, or clients. I figured out how to cancel as Admin/Staff but not for the client. Can you (or someone in the thread) (1) let me know how the client can cancel, (2) are you notified, and (3) is it taken off the calendar (I use Outlook).
