Alright Ive been watching your vids for awhile now and I feel the need to comment. You are not a good chef. Youre a home cook. And youre decent at that. That being said, everything you prepare looks great and Im sure tastes great. Where you lack in mise en place and small details (making uniform cuts, burning your pepper, etc) you make up for in being personable. Keep doing you, Ill still be a follower and watch, but you suck shit at being a chef

I appreciate that Sam likes his steak rare but he needs to start calling it as such. His steak is cooked rare, not med rare. I am a chef and have cooked for twenty years now, his steak is rare. It looks beautiful, I am not talking shit, just stating fact. Also, to each their own but you should only flip a steak once. I realize it requires more skill to do it that way but you should only flip once.

Garbagio. #1 - Wagyu is not Wagyu outside of Japan. period. You have Angus there. #2 - Adding pepper before cooking just burns the pepper in the cooking process. #3 - No side action on the steak? The steak has more than 2 sides. #4 - Foil after removing from heat? Cook the steak to desired temperature and let it sit. foil will only extend the cooking process. NNNNEEEEXXXXTTT.

This was my TOTAL favert in French colony, Ivory Coast, at a dinky little sports bar. SO good with big o' fries and green beans. Super cheap in '68. This was the preface to my sharing of this video on ol' peoples Twitter, better know by the commie name Facebook.

I just followed your porterhouse recipe and it was amaZING! I plan to do this one next! Thanks for teaching all of us newbies how to properly make a steak! It will be totally your fault when I become a fatass for eating a steak every day.
