Today I am making one of my favorite macaroni salads. I found a Reddit post discussing the ingredients of L & L Hawaiian BBQ macaroni salad. I recreated it and adjusted the ratios. It came out delicious! This macaroni salad is great for parties or your next bbq. Ingredients 12 oz (340 g) elbow macaroni 1 medium carrot (shredded) 1 1/2 Tbsp dehydrated onion 3 Tbsp pasta water (to rehydrate onion) 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 Tbsp tuna 1/4 tsp white pepper 1/4 tsp msg 1/2 tsp sugar (optional) salt to taste MUSIC Courtesy of My Favorite Macaroni Salad I recreated a recipe from a Reddit Post

Hi A! Your Salad looks good. I would definitely leave that tuna out of it. I do not eat any type of fish. Guess because it's Hawaiian it has tuna in it. Anyways all the rest sounds good. I have never made it because my Husband always made Potato and Macaroni Salads. Now my daughter makes the Macaroni Salad. I think its all in what Mayo you use. We haven't made Potato Salad in years. Nice video.

I'm so glad you're putting your picture in Front of the dish, instead of the back. Maybe it's just me but I always found it kinda of creepy, Anyway, I find your dishes fantastic. FYI but soften up on your RR when you say tortillas, too hard, just saying. Peace!

My mom is from Hawaii and I loveeeee mac salad. She actually puts the mayo in the night before, and then adds more mayo before the party since the macaroni absorbs a lot of the mayo in the fridge.
