Red sauce Ingredients
4 to 5 guajillo chiles
1 Roma tomato
1 jalape o
small piece of onion
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
salt to taste
Linda: I love love love chilaquiles and there are a million different variations of them. You mentioned something about mushy tortillas and I just made a Mexican Lasagna yesterday and layered everything and after it came out of the oven the corn tortillas were really mushy. what did I do wrong? Should I have fried them crispy first before layering or used less sauce or is that just what they do? Date: 2022-05-04
