This week on K-Town, Eater LA editor and host Matthew Kang along with his childhood friend go out for chimek, Korean fried chicken and beer, at New Yorks Turntable

The bar is nice and the contraption the beer comes in is cool looking. The staff there are attractive and welcoming. It may be the best Chimek spot in NYC, but it's comparable to bonchon for those familiar. Not a must travel for those out of the NYC area unless you don't have access to korean fried chicken places.

they kind of described everything as not too. :not too sticky not too salty not too spicynot too much I guess there must be another way to describe food and flavors, not just what they are not

Mannn come on. Soju is far from 'Korean Vodka' its a distilled rice wine (basically sake, which is around 15% ABV, opposed to Vodka which is 40% man. Big difference.

The girl looks like she was doing Korean fried chicken and other beer food every night. She needs to lose some pounds. Let's buy her a gym membership.

From meat grilled on the table before you, to boiling hot stews, to chilies and pickles, Korean food is almost impossible not to fall in love with
