My wife surprised me with a birthday visit and tour of Snows BBQ a few years agoMet the owner and Tootsie as well as the rest of the team, could not have been a more welcoming bunch of people anywhereSimply really, really good BBQ in an awesome lil town filled with great folks, not fancy. just deliciousAte all we could, took some home with big smile on our faces and some great memoriesTootsie was so gracious and kind, I bet there are a bunch of lucky kids and grandkids running around Lexington TexasThank you to the Snow's team, but remember to get there early. bikers, car nuts, bike riders etc. love the placeDevin ThomasMutts and Butts BBQ TeamProsper, Texas

As a native Texan I can attest that Tootsie's BBQ is absolutely amazing! I would argue that Franklin's in Austin is a little better, but the difference is Snow's BBQ in Lexington Texas is easier to enjoy because the line isn't three hours long. Since Lexington is in the middle of nowhere you can show up an hour before and be good to go. Either Franklin's or Snow's is a great choice.

he is eating the marble cut. of course its good and tender because that fat. let see the actual lean slab cut because i do not see it on his plate. that pork ribs is over cooked if its falling off the bone. so yeah those wouldnt have won any real competition cook off.

Why people drive all the way out there astounds me. This is some of the most overpriced and inconsistant brisket Ive ever had. On top of that, theres no way to know if there will even be any food left after your 2-3 hour drive. Go to Lockhart or Taylor instead.

Tootsy! 80? Shut up. There's some fat on there. Are you of Asian descent? How do you compare Texas BBQ to Asian BBQ? Not as sweet? Or at least the sauce isn't. You didn't do sauce? Pure meat?

You have to go to Smoque in Chicago if you're going on a bbq tour of the country. I know it sounds strange that Chicago has amazing brisket, but it does. It's Texas quality.

Well. I didn't enjoy it! I especially did not care for the host who obviously only barbeque restaurants that serve brisket and other cuts of beef cooked on a grill or smoker

Eater you should have also gone to Giddings downtown bbq thats like 15mins south of here. Their pork steak and ribs blow snows out of the water. But snow have better brisket.

Properly prepared brisket can be delicious, but it is not BBQ. BBQ is pork only. Beef brisket is smoked meat. Any meat can be bbq'd, but BBQ is only pork. Not negotiable.

Very inconsistent and very overrated. Meat was sitting around in the open in warming pans? And a pin in the ass to get there and maybe not get any food. Never again.
