As a NZ born teenager in the 70s, 90% of these bring memories. It is the foreign language onez I dont have a clue with. Artists missing I would bring up which were everywhere in the 70s, that come to my mind would include Seals and Crofts, Chicory Tip, Gary Glitter, Bob Welch, Cheap Trick, Bachman Tuner Overdrive, KC and the Sunshine Babd, Lieutenant Pigeon, Peter Frampton. Many many more. Perhaps just one artist clip (Not the numerous ones of Abba etc) would cover many more.

Amazing. I can remember almost every song of this collection. Many of them I haven't heard for decades. I grew up in East Germany behind the iron wall but I listened to West Berlin radio stations like like RIAS and SFB. I remember how proud I was in the 80s, when I could afford my first cassette recorder and was able to record my favorite songs.

At that time, I was actually still aware of what was on the radio. Apart from 5-6 songs that I can't remember at all and for which I don't even know the bands, I could have sung along to almost all of them.
Around that time, I started to get into hard rock and heavy metal and swapped records with my classmates.

1979, oh dear, I was 14. I'm really old now, at 60. And I really experienced that music back then. But I still have a lot in common with the old songs, because I play bass, and the songs back then have a much nicer bass than the crap they play on the radio these days.

You could have probably added another 150 memorable songs. There were so many others including Walking on the Moon by The Police, Are Friends Electric by Tubeway Army, My Sharona by The Knack and Devil Woman and We Don't Talk Anymore by Cliff Richard.

More 70s content! I was just making a final decision for finding the perfect theme song and entrance songs for my TV series where one of the seasons is set in the 1970s.

I was a little kid during the second half of the 70's, but I enjoy some of these songs. There are a lot of timeless songs here.

Made my day as usual! I remember hearing some of those songs on AM radio as a kid. Lots of great bands and memorable tunes.
