I’m surprised middle of the road did not have a bigger impact in the United States, they had a very photogenic lead singer and a great pop sound that really was the sound of the early 70s

A shame for the previous block, but also that this version mostly lost which countries the song got to number one in. Those differences and similarities were very interesting to me
