Y'know what, i usually hate these style of videos, they feel extremely corporate and the narrator dude usually just isn't funny and comes off more as annoying than anything, with cheesy -jokes- with -hellow fellow kids- energy, and absolutely no spirit or actual humanity in the whole end product, just a product that was pumped out with nothing but the goal to get the most likes and views with zero passion in it, BUT this one, THIS -ONE- was pretty good, i really enjoyed it, good job everyone involved

-We make videos. They're not usually this bloody. But I can make em that way if you want! -
That is the most threatening statement I've ever heard from a Polygon team member. I love it, I want 7.

That-s great that you mentioned Akira kurosawa. He has influenced so much of mainstream films and media. What would you say is your most favourite of his films?

I have never personally enjoyed any of From Software's games since they stopped doing Armored Core, but I could listen to Patrick talk about them all day.

0: 51 - -this looks like a bucket of chum chucked through a screen door-
i just laughed so hard while eating some chicken i nearly lost it on the laptop

Splatterhouse is a good candidate as the originator of the blood splat in games. Prove me wrong, I guess? Maybe Chiller but I can't think of many more.

Honestly, Polygon videos just hit that sweet sweet spot of humour and education that just does it for me, thank y'all for this video I loved it

Tbh I've never played Sekiro but I knew I had to watch this because the way the title was phrased it could ONLY have been done by Pat or Brian

Ah, my first game that hooked me to this bloody mechanic was Tenchu. Good ol' assassinations with campy dialogues and spraying blood.

So i had an idea, you should do a video about who is the best canis canem edit/bully kisser i want to see bdg talking about it
reply

pat has had enough of life in hiding and decided to come out as a vampire except he was too nervous so he made this video instead
reply

To be fair you can have as much blood as you want when you only actually hit your opponents flesh when you kill them
reply

Pat was the best person person for this since he seems to have the most blood lust out of all of the Polygon peeps

2: 14 -HaraKari- though
Thanks for being awesome, Pat, this is such an enjoyable style of video game talk

In before he mentions Kurosawa. (And if he didn't I'm going to be real disappointed)
Edit: not disappointed

Is that Dvorak-s new world symphony 4th movement: allegro con fuocho I hear in the background? Epic gamer time -

He says it was if someone had shook a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top. - Venture Bros

I honestly never realised just how over the top the blood in the game was, aside from the snake dying.
