I want a game where I can design and built and upgrade space ships and space stations, load them out with guns, cannons, lasers and tractor beams, and then explore or conquer the galaxy.
I also want to create planetary bases on land and underwater, and load them out with land and water vehicles. Everything from tanks to dune buggies.
I want to form alliances and wage intergalactic war with other alliances.
I want heavy design control and options for customization.
What's taking so long?

I've noticed that everyone sort of just. goes forward then turns around coming back at the enemies giving them like a split second to shoot at their target. if you go for a bit, then turn your fighter around and brake into revearse facing the enemies that just passed your ship, you get more hang time to shoot the flyers down as you get more hang time to accurately point to your targets, where as your enemies are stuck in a strait line from thrust you can adjust as needed.

and the jet pack may not have been designed for combat. I don't let that stop me, I got max upgrades on the jetpack, so im hovering in combat I'm hovering when mining, use it do it. you get better that way. you can more easily get around them higher suppression level bots when you move around more and do stuff the game can't predict such as. using the jetpack a lot in combat too.

The combat system is pretty clunky overall, but bearing in mind that its a primarily exploration based game, the combat seems like one of those things you do every once in a while to take your mind off of the main story.

ummm. you guys are forgetting one thing. the sentinal response behavior DIFFERS from planet to planet. So im guessing this is a shit planet because ive been through waaaay worse already.

They have pretty much everything down except combat and the weapons. If and once they get that implemented, they would have the perfect game

Why this wasn't just a 3 minute compilation of Griffin saying -No GOD NO! - from the Hearthstone videos is beyond me

I feel like when I pick this up I'm gonna want to avoid combat. It looks super boring unless you're in space.

I'd definitely buy a game in which combat is described as -not the worst thing in the world-. Very convincing!
