No jokes aside but when you say Pop Culture, you shouldn't limit yourself to series and movies. It should be broader than that. So when it comes to memorable Valley Girl Accent, no one could be more influential than The Kardashians. Not the biggest fan of them but they literally make that accent more recognizable nowadays thanks to their infamous reality show/spin-offs and many gimmicks. No one could top that more in terms of influence. Just saying but I guess your list, your opinion and so as mine.

FYI Encino girls, the Val accent was adopted by Canadian girls in the 80s and 90s, from movies like Valley Girls on VHS tapes, and Clueless with Alicia Silverstone. I was teaching Primary and Middle school, and I heard the change to Valley Girl accent and verbal exclamations. Those girls are mostly moms now and it's still the way they talk. I once asked a Grade 6 girl why she said certain words like that, and she said Like. what? That's the way you say it!

Fun fact, that's actually a Californian accent that many girls pick up. That being called the Valley Girl accent. So in this situation it doesn't necessarily mean she would be a wannabe. Though this is a movie so whatever just future reference for y'all

As a Cal girl I honestly grow up thinking that every state had valley girls as it is just a mindset and vocabulary. One thing I hate though is that people think valley girls are all blonde. Love them or hate them the K family are famous valley girls.

Cher Horowitz and Elle Woods arent valley girls they are both from the Hills, there are scenes in clueless and in the clueless tv show that as inclusive as cher is she still doesnt respect valley culture or valley girls like.
