The only remake I would accept of Avatar The Last Airbender would be a visual remake. That is, just redrawing everything the same way it was in the original, but with modern animation, something Korra-level or more. Of course, making a live-action TV show does not count as a remake to me, and creating new animated shows and films in the Avatar universe that do not touch on the original story would not bother me. Hell, I'd welcome it. Make me a Kyoshi show, and an ATLA season four focusing on the search for Zuko's mom and the reconstruction of the world after the war.

Are we talking about it being remade into an animated cartoon or live action? Cause if it's animated, though it could be live-action, I am not sure, there has been talk ATLA being continued on with the gang as adults. And then I think some movies or more spinoffs about a fire avatar then an earth/metal avatar. Which is a nice way of closing the story all together, by covering all four bending worlds, how they save the world in their story, and living up to the previous avatars legacies.

This animated masterpiece relies very little upon speech and instead tells a whole story through imagery, facial expressions, tone, and action. Truly a cartoon that's best not remade.

Steven Universe needs remake but not as a whole show, just last season, or last 2. Ending was a disaster, CN asked Rebbeca and the crew to end it quickly so they just give us some fan service. The way they edned it with happy ending does not work for that story (SU Future is darker but still doesn't work good knowing how the OG ended.

Correction no classic show should be remade. Stephen Universe is not that much of a classic unlike the ones from the 80s and 90s. He-man, She-ra and GI Joe should never be remade. If you saw why audiences hated Netflix She-ra and Kevin Smith bad e-man remade show he lied and it was just the Tella show who is masculine.

I love Batman: The Animated Series, but I really hate the mentality of Oh, nothing can beat. Why even try. It prevents other Batman shows, or really any superhero show, from trying to surpass it and it also encourages viewers to never give other shows a chance, even when they have something to offer.

Im so glad that Fosters is on this list; I was thinking about that one, especially because Im going through it again for my 5yo sons first time. We finished Ed, Edd, and Eddy before it and plan on Grim Adventures next. big toon fan here; my son is lucky to have meat least thats what I tell him.

In a way Samuri Jack was remade since the final seasons had a more up to date look to them and the original voice actor for Aku passed away years ago, they had to get a replacement. Other then that, yeah they shouldn't remake the series. Like they say If it ain't broke, don't fix it
