THIS is simply brilliant. Best. Short. Ever.
The actors. omg. everyone was just so spot-on, perfectly cast and so became their roles so well I've been going back and forth for the last 15 minutes trying (and failing) to decide to whom Best Actor and Best Supporting should go to.
Costumes; Wow! Simple and approriate yet gorgeous. Cinematography: Lush, Dusty and Perfect.
Cast: Loving The Diversity in Players: Human.
Narration/Narrator: I'm totally hot for my new favorite social studies audio visual dude. His deadpans and that voice. marry me.
A masterpiece one part quantum physics Ted Talk, one part Hitchhikers Guide, a sprinkle of Tombstone blended with just a slight zoosche of Blazing Saddles tossed by Tom Greene in a van life campground and served up raw with a slice of garlic-peyote saddle bread crunchies. An original one of a kind that pays homage to those in the past that matter to us because they are our legacy in the current future that matters to them. Paradoxically, he said.
An instant classic, I say.

Hello, this is Chris, the movie’s writer/director/fly swatter inventor. So proud and honored that LORD has hit the ol’ DUST-y trail, and so happy to be here with all of you.
In fact, I propose we all spend the rest of our lives right here in the comment section of this short movie, watching it and discussing it every minute of every day, until it ceases to function as a piece of fictional narrative entertainment and simply becomes THE NEW WAY, our hands fusing with our personal devices, our eyes dissolving into the screen, our brains plugging into the almighty Algorithm itself, which we will bend to our influence and use to lure in unsuspecting sci-fi fans, so that we may sap them of their precious bodily fluids, their very life essence, and live forever!
To that end, if y’all have any questions about the film itself or the process of making it, I look forward to chatting with you!

You know how the time asmmetry of spin is confusing That's only because the terms used to describe it are defined from different frames of reference and that gave me an idea for a comedy. If the further back in time you go the further away you are from where you started such that you can never change the past, creating a s ton of frustration comedic situations with the repeated attempts. I'm no good at script writing or comedy but you guys seem talented enough to make this idea work, please run with it, just throw my name in the credit somewhere.

Hello Big fan of sci-fi/time-travel/paradox tales, especially those with crafty humour. but i had been so disappointed by all those drastic hollywood flicks and pretentious movies and short films everywhere else, time and time again (pardon the paronomasia) -- you would have to create an actual masterpiece to get me to like movies or short films these days. Well this is it. Le Masterpiece. Congratulations, absolutely brilliant!

This might be the best short I've seen on DUST so far. Really love the unique combination of humor, tragedy, and vengence wrapped up in a great time loop idea. The narrator and the chalk board really is the cherry on top. But I was wondering about the final scene before the credits where the camera pans up to show the starry sky. Do the brighter stars spell some kind of message

It is enjoyable overall, but has some script flaws. For example, after the bag had landed, Wheeler hit Dumb Nate with the shovel and went for the bag instead of picking up Dumb Nate's revolver and making some holes in another Nate taking shit nearby. The time loop also needs some work, so that watching human beings can give more thought to the insanity of situation; )

This short film really illustrates to me that we all are all lords of time and space, no special weapon required, because our choices can either eliminate family time lines by taking a life or merely changing the outcome of future events simply by interaction. I believe its a very hard hitting example of the butterfly effect. Nice work!

Great storyline, awesome cinematography and brilliant acting, I love these short story films.
Allows people to be imaginative and creative and I'm all for it.
Would love to see future films, ideas and such that you have.
Whilst films are awesome, perhaps a comic book of the progressing storyline can also work

6: 32 what if the Mandela effect is different pasts, alternate pasts intersecting into the same present, different universes meeting ever so briefly, we are travelers from these alternate pasts and we all can remember those events differently. We are set on the same path in the present as we travel towards our chosen future path.

I like it, but if the past is solid and unchangeable wouldn't sending back the bags in time not make any difference Giving this a bit more thought when the bags were sent back they created a new timeline. Each new time line would have its own past therefore making the each of those pasts solid and unchangeable.

Hey all y'all!
If you usually start by reading the comments:
Save your time. Watch film several times instead!
This cynical old song snd dance guy says: This is great filmaking! Spectacular. Thats all. Just Spectacular.
We just need more from these cats and kittens!

This was absolutely brilliant. It mixed my two favourite themes, Time Travel and Wild West, as well as quirky narration (like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy type stuff. This was thoroughly enjoyable and my only critique was it was too short because I loved it.

Brilliant Story well told. Very realistically cast to that time. So well cast to the individual actors. Beautifully visualized. Beautifully photographed and edited. Made with love by all involved. Accolades, accolades, accolades. Brilliant.

That was one of the strangest most compelling and entertaining episodes I have watched.
Thank you to all of you.
Its encouraging that new sci-fi can still be created rather than recycling Star Wars / Star Trek / He man etc; )

wow. this should win awards. all of them. there is so much schlock on DUST but this is just simply amazing. I can't even really wrap my mind around what just happened but if I am ever a film maker I aspire to make one like this.

I loved your film! The combination of genres and the poignant message about time, wrapped up in the familiar tragedy of loss of a loved one. The narrator element gave the piece a lovely sense of whimsy. : ) Thank you!

I really enjoyed the storytelling, the sense of humor, this is one of my all time favorite shorts. Not quite sure how this allows the protagonist to be the lord of the future universe, but yea, very enjoyable.

This is a truly amazing 23minutes of my life. My life's lineage is now better off and my future will have a fond memory of this movie enough for me to tell my friends about it and adjust their future lineages too.
