Wrong, the actual answer is that British people can't be bothered to join the 21th century and off their monarchs already. The only reason a monarchy can exist, the only reason it ever existed, is because of the people buying into the idea royals have any power and, ironically, giving them power as a result. You'd thing the old lady dying would be a wake up call, but nope, gotta keep worshipping these inbred halfwits we arbitrarily decided are better than the normal people for no goddamn reason.

they stayed in power because they stole valuable artifacts and kept them in their possession. Now it's all just for looks. Kings/Queens are so outdated, (not that capitalism or communism is any better) We need a form of government that actually works. Nothing has worked so far. People still suffer every day. Those in power today are more concerned with making a quick buck then the well beings of their people

Nothing weird, it's just that too many English people (SPECIFICALLY English) have a very high tolerance for pageantry, cap doffing, forelock-tugging, and all the other BS that they're fed by the media. I'm English, and I DON'T have such a high BS tolerance. Republican in England doesn't mean the same thing as it does in the USA.

Monarchy is and always has been the best form of government, the only government where there aren't liar politicians deceiving you, and the only type of government that can protect national identity and culture, and what makes monarchy perfect is that its adaptive to all beliefs, even Communist states can have a Monarch and function properly.

It's not a weird history for us Malay People. because in Malaysia we have 9 Monarch that still exist to this day. and for us All of Malay Sultan's is very important because they Are Protector of our Heritage from being Demolish by the Liberal, Secular and Leftist Politicians. and we Malay People have to protect our Sultan's for our next 7th generation.
