Ultimately, Jefferson was a liar, a coward and a backstabber who used proxies like Monroe and Madison to do his dirty work for him. He sought to undermine Washington, especially in his second term and his aristocratic posturings and completely unbridled need to surround himself with the trappings of a wealth he didn t possess bankrupted his family unto the third generation.
The man was such a weasel that he would fit perfectly into the current Shaministration.

Mean Girls was the first film I ever went to theaters to watch by myself.
I couldn't get anyone else to go with me and I felt extremely uncomfortable at the idea of going to a film by myself.
I didn't want to miss seeing it in theaters, so I went.
There was one other person in the theater, and I even talked to him across the rows of seats.
Great film!

With the collapse of Silicon Valley bank, the clever thing that should be on everyone's mind right now, should be investing in different streams of income that are not dependent on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the states. This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver and digital currencies

Yeah, though Alexander Hamilton is a dick, I like him more than Jefferson as a person, also politically.
Imo, I think America would have been behind Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries more than we were in reality had we followed Jefferson s ideas rather than Hamilton s
Also, I ve never seen the play or heard the songs

As much as I hate to admit it Alexander Hamilton's vision for the United States was the more practical one. Thomas Jeffersons vision for the country was purely agricultural which was impractical with the speed countries were urbanizing. Also when you really break it down the Civil War was a war between Hamilton and Jefferson ideals.

It's good to show that the Founding Father's who we tend to but up on an ivory pedestal with an almost God like status are shown to be the all too human people that they were. Those who think the political climate is the worst that it has ever been need to watch this know that it could get even worse amongst the Founding Fathers.

If I had a choice of any vehicle to get a ride from, be it car, truck, tank, limo, etc.
it would be in that taxi from Taxi Driver with Robert De Niro as the driver and Jodie Foster riding shotgun.
If it was an Uber, it would be from Jennifer Lawrence driving the car from No Hard Feelings.

Any government that moves to have athority greater than one has unto themselves is an enemy of the people. There enough of us that care about building up our communities instead of break them down that we can find better places to put put our money instead of just giving our lunch money to bullies

Just a reminder that language is important when it comes to Sally Hemings - she didn t have an affair with Jefferson. The implies the ability to consent which, as both a slave and a teenager decades younger than a very powerful man, she didn t have the agency to grant.

I grew up believing that Hamilton was a 6th great granduncle. Turns out there was an Alexander Hamilton on that spot of the family tree, but he wasn t THE Hamilton ours was born in the 1770s and in Pennsylvania. Oh, well, so much for that family story.

My suggestion is that neither could hold a candle to the reputation and integrity of George Washington. The campaign that Jefferson waged secretly against Washington tells the story of a man who knew more hateful words than he did humble ones.

Side Jefferson on general thoughts on government, but dude was definitely childish and petty and that is not worthy of any admiration. Seems like he kicked off the plague of American politics that persists today.

There are approximately 1, 010, 300 words in the English language, but I could never string enough words together to properly express how much I want to hit you with a chair. Alexander Hamilton, to Thomas Jefferson
