Note to the narrator of this video! Today is Monday December 5th 2022! In 3 day it will be 42 years since Lennons death! I was born and raised in Manhattan in New York City! At the time of John Lennons death, I was living at 370 Central Park West and 97th street! The Dakota building where John lived and died is located on 72nd street and Central Park West with the entrance on the side between CPW and Broadway! There is no 72nd Avenue in Manhattan so please correct your error from 3: 13 minutes approximately to 3: 18 minutes! Its quite annoying to want to hear wrong information! You are letting people from other nations and countries and even states in America think that Manhattan has a 72nd Avenue when it doesnt! A friend of mine from Canada called me and said she was watching this video and she was surprised that Manhattan had a 72nd Avenue! I told her that whatever she heard was wrong! I decided to watch this video for myself and your not a good investigative reporter! You probably just read off what ever papers are given to you or your reading from a teleprompter! Check your information before assuming that what you are saying is correct! We go from east river drive to York Ave to first second, park Avenue avenue of the Americas, Madison, Central Park east, west, Amsterdam Broadway up to 11th Avenue! Then you hit Riverside Drive and you can then see New Jersey across the River! Please make the correction! That night my husband my 3 year old son and I walked there! It was packed and people were holding white candles! We were all hurting! So dont tarnish this story with wrong info! Shame on you!

I tend to think that Chapman was brainwashed by the CIA. I'm not kidding! The theory was bandied about years ago that the CIA killed Lennon through Chapman because it was feared that Lennon would be a thorn in the side of Ronald Reagan because of Reagan's conservative agenda.
I can believe that. So many things just don't make sense on even a cursory examination of the dynamics of this crime. Where did Chapman get money to travel back and forth to New York? I thought I had heard that he was unemployed. Chapman's reason for killing Lennon was ABSURD, and after reading Catcher in the Rye, I can't connect it as a motive with the murder. Most importantly, if Chapman wanted fame from killing a famous, easy-access celebrity, and one of the people on his list was the governor of Hawaii, and he lives in Hawaii, WHY DIDN'T HE KILL THAT PERSON? Certainly that would have been the most easy-access celebrity he could've encountered.
This whole thing makes NO SENSE unless you consider the involvement of some nefarious, clandestine organization.

Chapman is a cover story for the military assassination of an innocent and law-abiding person. Their reasoning was he was too powerful and influential. Note his name Mark (as in target) and Chapman (as in Shtman) = Assinate the enemy. Note, also what Chapman says, 'He was an album cover to me'. A typically military sick joke, as it was a 'bum' or poor cover story for a cold-blooded murder. This why MI7 are keen that Liam and Noel Gallagher would copy his look and music, helping to bring the crime, dark and fear to a new generation. Yoko Ono was also involved, as part of Mi7 (note also the connotations arising from her name, and remains free to this day. Also, Sean Lennon and Paul McCartney, who are also part of MI7, are involved.

chapman is an idiot with his narcistic way of living life a loser with no self esteem he's not insane he's a murderer with intent. he planned it a long time. I hope he got more than salvation in prison Lennon was just a man who got famous without the intent of being what it turned into. elsewise he was just a guy and he wanted that life not as Beatle John but sicko's with cowardly acts have ended many lives of undeserving people. he attacked the famous identity not the real person but thats not an excuse he should be ashamed of himself. Kharma will be soon

The lesson I think has to do with ground. Can you stand on it? Can you build on top of it? I think that is what got to him. He probably thought that JL was unworthy. Unworthy to whose standard? Lennon could have grown old and contributed much more. I don't see the world better without him. I don't see why anyone should call him out on his offenses. It is simply immature to assume you can do good by doing bad. It may have been a passing phase but he followed through?

My mother transcribed Lennon's Playboy interview in 1980, making several thousand dollars off this man. I was well aware of who he was when he was killed. NYC radio played nothing but Lennon and I was wishing Mom hadn't sent the eighteen hours of tape back. She complained about how his accent and the audio quality slowed her down and that she had to do most of it herself because her freelancers were paid by the page.

I was 16 when John was shot. I was at a house party and everyone was talking about it. I was just getting into the Beatles at the time. Early the next morning a bunch of us left the party and took the train into the city. We stayed all day in Central Park in front of the Dakota, whats now Strawberry Field. There were thousands of people. It was so sad and surreal

I think he killed him because he's mentally ill, and does not have the ability to appreciate what life is itself, doesn't have the respect for life. There's a lot of that going around unfortunately, people's own mental issues prevent them from understanding or caring what someone's life is really worth. It's very sad

I'm not a fan of Yoko, but at some point the question must be asked because Chapman and his wife are allowed conjugal visits. How many conjugal visits is Ono allowed with her husband? I ask as if to draw the attention to the fact that murderers shouldn't be allowed such things.

Dude his wife is hot as f. What a complete loser. Unfortunately I always assumed that a guy like that has a really small penis if he's married to such a beautiful attractive asian. Unfortunately people will eventually think that of me when I'm married to an asian

The killer should get the death penalty. He's been denied parole 11 times since 2000 meaning he's already served 40 years in prison. Why does the US waste money funding these places, there is clearly no hope that psychotic men like this can be rehabilitated.

Lennon wouldnt even be in the situation if it werent for yoko ono manipulating him into moving to New York. Some will blame chapman for John's death, but anyone who can read between the lines will correctly blame where the blame is due: yoko ono

Oh, John could have been killed earlier in the day, but he wasn't, so he was able to go and put finishing touches on Yoko's song. THANK GOD! We almost compounded one tragedy with another. All of posterity thanks you for the gift of Yoko's music!

Totally Talentless Dickhead! The only way This nothing could gain fame was by shooting a great artist in the back after being kind enough to sign his album for him! Chapman is still a loser and still a nobody and always will be!

Isn't it weird how murderers will suddenly turn religious? This is just my opinion but it's almost like that they think that'll suddenly make everything okay, I'm not religious but I feel murder is an unforgivable sin.
