Its one of those things that sound super complex and extremely tough to do because shes breaking it down in so many pieces but its probably something very enjoyable for the avg male back in the day as sport. Especially by starting them at an early age I-m sure. Try explaining how people snowboard these days to the avg Egyptian back then it would sound like how this lady is explaining chariot archery

I liked this video with Omar cause there was a good variety of beneficial lifts. But, I think a better exercise for mimicking throwing weapons would be using clubs or maces. These exercises use more of the back and grip as well as the shoulder. Using these muscles are important for throwing effectively. I think an episode with these exercise tools would be pretty cool.

I've been trying to figure out why Omar has a different look to him especially in the chest area and i realized he has scoliosis. It's good to see a fellow scoliosis sufferer so fit and able to do all this amazing training despite it. P. S. look at Chris Hemsworth aka Thor: he's also got scoliosis and is insanely fit and in great shape.

I understand people need to make videos but even in the entertainment - industry- it is all kill kill kill. Do any of you people ever consider what we are being programmed for? real combat is not like the movies you seem to love. the only way to turn it off is to die!

Also the didn't work out they practiced what they were training for. They didn't have barbells maybe jump rope or rocks. We haven't see any artifact's or workout equipment. Lol

I know almost all of these exercises are educated guesses, but the Egyptologist specifically mentioned sandbags. Why weren't they integrated into any of these sets?

Actually all ancient African diets were completely plant-based and the concept of slaughtering animals for their meet was completely unknown until colonization.

Did they go to gyms? no.
Were they fit? yes.
Same reason why people with outdoor physical jobs get fit.

I think you should have included, actual sand bag lifting and pressing overhead, front squats with the sand bag etc
