Hi guys. Ive done the reverse of you guys. Lived on the high piranese mountains for half my life and now back to a costal town. Im very shocked (lol) to see how useless your electric fence is. It should have zapped you like being hit by a hammer. Over here there available with solar charger that way never have to charge the battery. Here there used for wild boar cows horses ect. Put your unit in a big plastic bag or bucket with lid water will make them fail. If you run a low and high line make sure that grass and plants cant touch the line eigher couse it will remove current. The most eficient way of instaling is to cut secctions of -Rea- the cheap iron that goes into armed cement, the diameter of the R. e. a depends upon the inside diamete of the cheapest garden hose like nylex that you can purchase.
Ie garden hose with 10mm inside diamere buy how ever may poles (normaly 1. 7m long) you need. They hammer into any soil easy. Cut 20cm of hose slide it onto your r. e. a and its isolated. If the nylex slides fasten the lower part to the rea with a wire fastner just swist till tight. Good luck to both but i dout that its going to stop a hungry bear. Is anything capable of stoping a bear on a mission? But the wire fence hurts just like a hammer. Been there done that.

their interested object, be it ball,
stick etc. Jake, Nicole you lucked
out with all the boys. Was the choice
of boys conscious, or purely by
chance? ---
-The boys eat seafood better
than most humans. Those are spoiled puppies. I have been a
vegetarian since I was ten. I found
that red meat inflamed the inner lining of my intestinal track. I ran
across the book -Diet for a Small Planet- at a bookstore in 1973. At
that moment I found what was the
correct way for me to eat, and thrive.
The only reason I never went vegan
was I love eggs and seafood too
much. I-m half Italian, I cannot give up goodies from the sea. Once again
thank you, for sharing your lovely
selves. It-s my favorite way too relax
before sleep. ---

Feeding the dogs is a great aspect I was thinking about this reality watching a few videos. I still cant believe Jake left Arizona. Love having timber. Im amazed with how far you guys have come in such a short amount of time. You guys are busting ass and I love it. I wish we had more people like you because our generation have no idea the amount of effort your truly putting in. While your still young guys. you will be great-full for the hard work your putting in. You have some nice equipment! A lot of money spent. Don't ever allow a difficult time destroy your what your building. You seem perfect together. Bless you two for a life time. You have no idea how bad ive dreamed of this life. You have amazing hard working lady there Jake don't ever let go her.

I am coming to Canada and I want to eat what the dogs eat o my word, they are so lucky hehe. I have been watching you guy's for quite a while now and well done for archiving so much in the time you have been there. one trivial question, why did you put the roof sheeting on your extension buildings length wise, the snow and the water will have a hassle sliding off like it supposed to, I know its a lot quicker but water is always going to lie there, sorry (-:

those wooden posts foundations will rot in time and the whole structure will sag and self destruct. My front porch apparently was built like that and they did not support the floor with any cement or solid material. Now after 30 years the wood has rotted away and is sagging in the middle. I have jacked it up and replace the posts with 6- x 6- pressure treated post on stone bases. Good to go for another 30 I hope!

Love your pups. our dogs bring a ball back together like yours do also. so cute. Love your journey. we have a similar situation with our 'camp' but we don't live there year round. (its on a lake. and freezes. but not consistently. making it unsafe to try and leave or enter at times. some years we can go over the ice on a snowmobile though. :) we also have not tried gardening at our location. youre doing amazing!

Cats need a healthy diet of meat. I'm sure the kitties love the fresh seafood! Cats also like brocolli as long as it has butter or cheese!
If the seafood is harvested for food, it would seem anyone could eat it. I couldnt live there without eating an occasional crustacean or seafood delight.

That's just the beauty of dogs though. They live to make their people happy. :-)

I don't understand the reason for the fence around the garden if it has a huge door with only one electricitied wire. couldn't you just put one wire all around? can't a bear or any other animal find the door? is there a thing to close the door when you leave? I'm really asking.

Question, do you run into issues with animals like bears or other predators coming up on the deck because of the seafood smell after you let the dogs open up the clams? Just wondering why not just open it all up for them so there's less mess? Great video though
