Hi all, Quick video today to promote the book of one of my friend and probably the best conductor on the whole Amtrak system, conductor Brad released a novel about his dear Zephyr. What if the California Zephyr got trapped in the Moffat Tunnel during a cataclysmic event?

Reminds me of -Malevil-, the film inspired by Robert Merle's book by the same name. I reckon you've had fewer revolutions around our sun that I have, you may have not heard of it. I just re-read the synopsis, I do remember Jacques Villeret trapped in a train in a tunnel after a post-apocalyptic event.

Nice presentation Thibault. I've been on a round trip excursion from Denver to Winter Park. Beautiful scenery! And friends have been on the California Zephyr from San Francisco to Chicago. They are still raving about the exierience. Thank you--

Thanks for letting me know about this book. I just finished it. I really enjoyed it! I loved learning more about trains and the US railroad. I can-t wait to complement Conductor Brad next time I-m on the Zephyr -!

At least the trains in the USA & Canada do keep moving when there is heavy snow around. Unlike in the UK where trains do grind to a halt and causes so much disruption as snow falls onto the railway tracks.

I've done the California Zephyr from Chicago to Emmeryville in 2016. Brad wasn't my conductor, but the staff were amazing despite so many delays, etc. And, it was an amazing journey. -

Nice video. I wonder if you'll do the -Ligne de l'Aubrac- train in France. I heard it's amazing.
