Steam trains in the Hampshire landscape. This video was taken from various locations along the length of the line, to give an overall impression of this 1st rate preserved railway. I hope the viewer enjoys watching this film as much I enjoyed making it. NOTE - the views taken of the train running over the camera, were obtained by leaving a tiny GoPro camera laying on the ballast where a public footpath crosses the track

Many a teary moment their. so good to see 34007 Wadebridge back in steam. I recall seeing her arrive at the Plym Valley Railway in the 80s from Barry. thought nothing on earth could bring her back yet here she is. wonderful

Thank you. The first light engine movements were filmed between 8 and 9 o'clock in the morning. The Mid Hampshire Railway is a good line to video with plenty of good locations.
