I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline with 73000 miles. I bought it new. I want to keep it as long as I can. I've only replaced the radiator fans and a fan that sits under the glove box that blows air for my AC. Other than that it runs great. Once in a great while I need to put some power steering fluid or a sound is made when the steering wheel is turned even though the power steering fluid container is just below the max fill line. Do I need to replace the timing belt at this point? Does it have an interference or non interference motor?

The funny thing is that I had x5 e70 and had no problems with 120k on the clock. Mabey just lucky. Got 2 years old x5 with 15k on the clock but on the P2P. I hope all gonna be good: ) wanted lexus LS600h but my Misses said it looks like Toyota and end of the day I prefer for blw to go wrong than my Misses to be upset hahahahahha. As she would be more expensive to keep happy then bmw: )

True story- i was at my mechanics place which is much like your shop btw scotty- on the side of his house- working maintenance on my camry which just clicked 199k mi and a lady in a black x5 pulled up and i heard my mechanic say under his breath i just paid my bills for the month - guaranteed its an electrical issue. He was right on both counts. BMW = break my wallet

I have a Solara with the 330 engine. I m getting the timing belt changed next week. It s my winter car, but I ve been using it as my daily because I am between good cars. I haven t decided what to get next, but it will probably be a Toyota/Lexus product. Anyway, at 123, 000 miles, I am driving on borrowed time.

Toyota have a 998cc 3-cyl engine with VVT, presumably so they can have a smaller engine but without completely ridding it of any sort of power. My first car was a Mk. 1 phase 3 Renault Clio with a 1, 149cc 4-cyl D7F engine, only 60hp and struggled to beat a tortoise to 60mph, but it was an interference engine.

Hey Scotty what do u think of a 03 GMC envoy I keep having this camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor code changed them both twice along with a vvt solenoid which it finally stopped showing me the code on that but I don't have the money to have it looked at plz help

I have a 2009 x5 30d for 8 years. It has 850. 000kms which is about 550k miles. And has been very reliable. Only got some break downs in the past years. I spend in total around 6500 euro fixing it for so many miles. They are great cars. Only the first generation is garbage

The first SUV I've ever driven was a rental, a Nissan Armada. That rhinoceros was like a mini-bus. Too high in the air and it felt like it jostled as I turned a corner. I thought it was going to roll over. No thanks, I'll keep my 9 year old Camry.
