Having no interest in Jeeps -- actually no interest in SUVs in general, I almost skipped this video. Im so glad I didnt. It was very interesting. Even more surprising, its a decent Chrysler product built when Lee Iacocca was pushing cab forward design (and if you had or have one of those, youve experienced the nightmare of working under those hoods -- and my very small hands and my sons long, very skinny fingers dont give us much of an advantage at all. Congratulations, Cole You have a really nice Jeep and were lucky to get a Chrysler product that wasnt made by engineers who were pulled outta the cuckoos nest.

I had one 98 also the 4 liter though. It may have been the only petrol one in Ireland. It could cruise comfortably at 100 mph (after about 3 am though) when an Gard Siochana had gone to bed. Was not bad at all, engine/transmission perfect, had some problems with rear dif and cv joints/drive shaft, I suspect it was a bit weak in those areas. Maybe more of an early suv than an all round 4x4, good fun though. I got around in the big freeze 2010 after everyone else was stuck. I had the roads to myself plenty of donuts and Jeep skiing.

Great find Really nice rigDefinitely need a vehicle like that in Eagle Colorado. I miss Colorado. I have a 92 YJ modded for off-roading that I wish I had living there (even though I was a flatlander, lol. You should check out LITE BRITE on YT. They are in Colo Springs and they have a 2018 Wrangler JLUR, you could / should hook up with them to hit some of those awesome trails out there. Id love to see that thing do some rock climbs. Im in Fl now, so one good thing. Im always doorless and topless. even in rainy season

Man, I luv Jeep Grand Cherokees Nice ride man I saw 1st hand what vehicles go through in mountains of Colorado. If any1 thinks their vehicles tough, spend time there. Close friend of mine moved there, aftr getting n2 2much trouble here in Mo. He moved there in a early 90s model Toyota car with a v6, back in 99. When I went 2 c him, I ask where his Toyota was, and he had blew it on th steep mountain highways Turns out, most people in that region bought new cars every 3-4 yrs b/o auto trans failure.

My first ever company car. The bosses son had it new then it was handed to me at 240k miles at 5 years of age. They used it for long trips to clients all year. It had uncanny torque in the pedal cuz its considerable light but has this monster engine. When they got rid of it it was 10 years old the miles read 380000 and the engine ran still strong. Even the friggin transmission on these is badass. Chryslers golden age I guess.

Fuel Efficient, nah, not even by 1998 standards, but environmentally friendly, 95% yes No additional mining or refining to get the metal out of the ground, shipping and transport of the car across nation (s) not to mention all the electronic waste and having to dispose of so many non-reusable parts of the car. I dont like the Grand Cherokee, Id rather a 2 door Cherokee XJ, like a million other people, but yeah nice car.

How many miles on that Jeep Grand Cherokee? I had one of those 360 cid engines souped upin a 71 AMC Javelin with a Borg Warner 3 speedand that car smoked everything at the time. Now Ihave a 2012 JGC overlandwith the 5. 7 Hemi and it has no problem with power. Thats a really nice jeep you have and it does sound really mean. I wish I could get my jeep to sound like that

Put a propane kit on it, summer idiom plugs and run synthetic oil. Because you put taller tires on it your gas mileage is actually that percentage better than what youre actually recording because youre not getting accurate miles recorded. It is difficult to get good gas mileage out of that vehicle and its compounded by the altitude that youre at as well.
