Australia and Canada best places to be other than Japan if you're a Subaru enthusiast, here in my city in Western Canada there are JDM part's everywhere, our government salvage hates rhd vehicles and will write them off for virtually no reason! Like 800-1500 for a 70k STi from Japan with everything Brembos, Ej207, 6 speed transmission etc etc! It's cheaper for me to buy a whole car than some parts! Got long runner intakes, twin scroll turbo's, Syms downpipes, Intercoolers in every shed I have! There are some benifits of living in the Frozen North! Just picked up a Legacy B4 with a dent in the driver's door 80, 000 kilometers, 900 I wish could buy em all!

Have a question about the brakes. Japanese WRX STI Type R's don't have ABS brakes, because you could lock the adjustable central diff. Are you installing an ABS braking system into your car, did it come with ABS already or are you just keeping it non-abs? I did see some mention of changing the wheel sensors and I assume you are changing the control for the central diff.

I wish it was legal to upgrade brakes in my country. I just had massive problems getting brand new brembo drums and shoes to pas an MOT. It was on the rear on a Peugeot 106 Rallye- So disc conversion would be a good safety upgrade. but illegal! we cant have people driving around and stopping fast and safely over here.

Trung's voiceover part was great, it's really reassuring hearing a pro put 2+2 together for you, like I'm sure we all have had those painting problems like blistering and crow's feet while trying to colour match a part and I feel like my inituiton is always 'just add a bit more paint! '

I like the style of wheels you went with but Im not big on the shade of bronze. Looks a bit too brown for my taste. Im a bit surprised you didnt go for gold wheels to keep with the STI look but as long as you like it. Hope you keep this car for a long time
