Thanks for the video. I bought the gal and spray gun in the fall, here in Ma. I didn't get it done then. Better late that never, I guess. 2010 Tacoma with frame recall. It was not bad enough when the dealer inspected it. They wanted to spray it with their product, but I didn't want that stuff.

I'm in the rust belt (Montreal, Canada. Lots of salt. How many more years will a car live if antirust is applied every single year before summer. You said no treatment, expect 10-15 years. Does it do anything if you start treatments later in the life of the car?

I would be hesitant to spray FF on rust. Seems to trap moisture and cause more rust to develop. Not sure about that stuff. There are waxes made for rust that seem better. NoxRust I. e. would like to see this vehicle today. Thanks

CRC is fluid film on steroids. Think of fluid film that cannot wash away by high pressure water, it can only be removed by solvent but has the breathing capability of fluid film. Watch Project Farms video on this for proof

Sprayed a bmw mini cooper rear subframe with this stuff a year ago, it was orange surface rust all over a mess.
Checked recently to reapply and it looks like its been painted, as good as the day i sprayed it on.

Im so glad I watched this video! I literally just had 3 cans delivered today, I was going to attempt to apply it myself. I think Im going to have my mechanic apply it for me so he can put it on the lift. Thanks my man!

Question if Im doing this on a older car with rust already is there any harm in cleaning the surface rust with a wire wheel and a needler and painting it black before adding this product

Fluidfilm works great. Im going to try cosmoline this year. I hear its thicker, sticks better, and doesnt come off as easy with the rain, snow, salt etc. Ill follow up in the spring with the results.

Satisfying job, a basic tip is to mark in two inches from wand tip with permanent marker so when you pull out you get some warning rather than a face full of cavity wax lol
