Ahhh the ol count the flashes routine. So long as you have the data chart, works ok. I kept my Red Brick around just to test old OBD1 cars as well as the basic RWAL systems that cannot be accessed through the OBD2 port. I have a bag full of the connector adaptors. Papa always said Never get rid of a tool. You'll need it as soon as it's gone. Also, nice self check on the purge sol. I thought I was crazy when I was thinking, it's not power side switched when you described the diagram. Oh well, you showed us that we all make 'happy mistakes' from time to time; )

I feel fortunate to live in the dallas fort worth area where we rarely get snow or ice. Rust on vehicles down here is very uncommon seeing how the roads might get salted once every four or five years. I've had cars that are more than 25 years old and not have a trace of rust.

That valve looks identical to that of one I seen in the wrecking yard on a Chevy. Wish I could remember which one. Those lines looked good. I miss flash code reminds me of the old school honda/Toyota stuff from when I was apprentice oh the glory years.

It's sad Nissan puts a fake spare tire on a truck where you might have a payload in the bed, be towing, be off road and far from the nearest tire shop, etc. It's yet another reason the Frontier has mostly been dead last in small truck sales.

You do not have to be so concerned about letting the viewers know about fixing your poke holes. It's only the idiot's that know nothing that will comment about it. Ah did you see that he poked a hole and didn't fix it. Keep up the good work

A guy I worked with had his Chevy Avalanche totaled because it was from the rusty-crusty part of the world because corrosion ate through his ABS valve body and there were none available to replace it.

My Frontier wont go into gear, and I just bought it yesterday and drove around with no problems. Go to drive it today and it wont go into gear. I feel like Im gonna break my shifter if I pull it down too hard

I find it interesting that you are using the Power Probe IV a lot BUT, you are not using it in the traditional sense (injecting power into a component. I certainly hope the rest of your viewer understand this!

one of the important things left out on this video is where did you get the abs hydraulic unit since nissan doesn't stock that part anymore and cardone industries doesn't have a replacement for imports.

Do you recommend rust-proofing to prevent a car that otherwise would run fine at this age from going to the crusher? And, if so, what do you find works best? Situation here in MA is equally as bad.
