you add a comment that the design was done by the former designer at Volvo. Volvo was in no way a cutting edge design they were known for their safety but maintained the look of a breadbox for years. To me i hope it drives better then it looks. It looks lime my cousins buick from the 90s Not a glowing review that is for sure. Maybe it drives better but it doesnt have a current advanced look. To bad because i really want someone to take an honest run at Tesla and so far I havent seen anything that comes close. all someone needs to do is do an updated look on the outside and make the controls better as the one screen no controls is terrible. Some things are better left alone.

Looks a little like a slabby SKODA. Not sure what the shrill hysterics about design is. For a special EV, this looks very ordinary and forgettable and that interior will age fast. That key is horrendous - where is the smartphone integration?
Compare this to the Mercedes EQC and Audi eTron at the same price point, or even the Jaguar iPace all of whom offer a SUV format with more space, versatility and pace, I think the Auto Express assessment is hopelessly breathy and misplaced.

Mutch better looking inside and out than tesla! The plastic key is a guest key! I drive a new Volvo and i have 4 keys 2 metal and with leather wrapped, one red plastic for guest driver and a very small sports one, that you can also go swim with it. Hand dirty with the trunk? The trunk is elettric! Come on what a review! you can open it from inside the car, with the key and also with foot sensor! To close it you need just to press a botton! Not a very good review yet!

Key is hideous. Back seat space is absolutely not what the video describe as reasonable, very small legroom and back is too up right(at 4min 0 sec, the reviewer is afraid of telling the truth. How about the transmission tunnel? Reviewer is also afraid of mentioning it. Trunk is small (reviewer also afraid of telling the truth. Not telling the truth would not help Polestar 2 sell well.

Thought it was a good initial video view of the car. Would be nice to have a back to back long term review of the Polestar 2 v Tesla 3 - as well as looking at their build quality and safety design. Will be very interesting to see what Lotus can do with the dynamics of an EV seeing they've announced they've got one more petrol engine ad then will be heading the EV route.

People overlook the Tesla secret ingredient. Everybody raves about the battery in the software. But his real Ace in the hole is z electric motor he re invented the electric motor. And he did it in such a way that it cannot be reverse engineered. Now if that's not an Ace in the hole that everybody's overlooking I don't know what it is. Just saying

Tesla sales will fall through the floor (or at least the growth will rapidly decline) in the next few years when the -main stream - manufactures start selling these types of cars. The Tesla build is very poor and the interior styling devisive. They won-t have a USP to offer.

Absolutely love the way this looks the only thing I don't like is the interior colour spec, think I'd go white on black and keep the wood.
Bravo Volvo/polestar though your smashing it I'd literally be happy in any of your latest cars especially the xc40 and this.

Not that well researched imo, it's quicker than 2 of 3 model 3 variants (slower than performance) but has larger battery than 2/3. It is also comparably priced so saying it is slower, has less range and costs more is a bit unfair.
