The top down wind -resonance- was there on 991 too; Porsche have thoughtfully installed a pop up wind deflector on the top of the windscreen which dissipates the wind vortices. Surprised Mr S had not noticed it was there?

Love Steve-s reviews, but hate the new interior, from that ugly stubby shifter to the line of the dash which just seems wrong to me. But I-m looking forward to driving one on Friday at the PEC in LA.

I love the shape of this 911 targa. Previously I enjoyed the shape of the 997 iteration (I-m aware not a REAL targa) but this looks far better to my eye than the 991.

The -aerodynamics- noise heard in the cabin is called the Helmholtz Resonance. Just leave the windows half way down and engage the diffuser on top of the windshield
