Electric is pretty obvious for RR, adds to the silence, civility and sophistication. And in their price range it's very easy to fit the electric drivetrain, indeed probably cheaper that coming up with custom ICE for their modest volume. They should really have moved on it sooner. They could have hitched their wagon to Tesla, compatible with their charge network, maybe even license the drivetrain components at first. Would have given them an air of superiority to be sole external accessor to the superchargers. I hear UK's charging infrastructure is particularly bad when not Tesla so that would give RR drivers the assurance they would like. It's a bad look for an RR to be stranded by some amateur outfit while Teslas keep flowing.

Sad. And I'm not talking about the EV part, that's just the expected politically correct BS nonsense we live these days, I'm talking about the design. They could have gone for a true inspiring, unique coupe a la Maybach one off prototype, if they decided to go for younger audience, with less packaging restrictions compared to an ICE. Instead they came up with this contraption that is straight ugly on the front side and mediocre everywhere else. Disappointing.

Love the attention to detail with materials, would love to see more of that such as close ups of stitching and leather depth lower on the door panels, perhaps sides of center console as well. Maybe a close up of the shift column highlighting the leather wrap as well

Everybody seems to be talking about how electric is the right way to go for luxury cars but is the convenience of just not spending hours at the charging stations not worth considering for a successful owner who's time is very valuable and expensive?

Explain this to me. Why can BMW design such a good looking car both inside and out, but BMW cars are just getting worse and worse to look at. Especially inside with all the tech gimmicks currently on offer.

I don t know why RR feels the need to put in a fake engine noise on it s first pure EV. It sounds rubbish in the video. Obviously it looks amazing and is the epitome of why RR exists if you can afford it.

those cheap ass stocks have nom place in a car like this. The least RR can do is spend some millions to come up with a better designed higher quality stalks.
