I do like these presentations but for fairness they should have been both auto, I used to own a fully spect A45 and they are a pain in the arse, everyone wants to race you you can never have a relaxing drive, it's like a coiled spring, the Golf on the other hand is anonymous debadge it and you have the best hot hatch out there in my humble

had the R now got the gti performance 245 BHP and to be honest cannot tell a great difference, the GTI is much better looking and nicer inside, plus better fuel economy. might get it chipped to add 45bhp making it 290 bhp. My verdict get the GTI as its cheaper.

I can-t deal with that spoiler on the a45. I-d feel like an absolute yob. The R is so much more understated and classier. Each to their own though.
