the RS is a great car. and MPG shoudn, t come into it for the RS. my only problems are it, s 30k some people say it, s only 24. 995k but i, ve looked at 6 and all was 30k even though they had diffrent specs. too much money for a FORD especially after thr problems i, ve had with ST. also 22k for 305bhp STI with free pdp which takes it to 340bhp is just a ANIMAL. can, t make up my mind. what to have next. HOPE you have no problems at all with your RS.

And why doesn't Mercedes make a FWD car? Could it be because they have no idea what they're doing? This in contrast to many other manufacturers who no longer (or never did) make a RWD car. Apparently, the bean counters are impressed by a drivetrain that can be installed in one big clump, allowing the hiring of the most unskilled of workers to do it.

You should. If you want something special and bad ass, this is it. Sure, it can't mess with the serious V8 monsters, but it can definitely tantalize stock ricers both in the straight line and especially in the bends. Well, if you've got some where you live LOL. Go buy this car and you won't ever regret it: D

It looks bloody amazing. Scoobys started going cack sinse the new century i reckon; the new 1 is bludy horrible, looks like they tried making it look like a focus anyway, and Evos got boring when the evo 7 came out also around the turn of the century, given the choise it wud be the focus rs anyday

I think if we, the US, had more cars like this, we wouldn't have to bail our companies out!
I love ford but i think they should care a little more about their american models. Bring over the focus RS and the Mondeo, PLEASE!

Funny because I allways think the same thing at autocross. There are lots of AWD cars there every saturday, Lancers, WRX STI, Audi etc but there are still better times by FWD cars, and RWD cars allways take the fastest times.

THAT 5 cylinder volvo engine sounds AWESOME. for the money u cant go wrong. add a few simple mods 350 BHP. there s 3 were i live 2 in ultimate green 1 white they look AWESOME when u see them comming especially in green!

does anyone know of any real track testing of the rs?
i agree with jlcone - subie went soft and so did mitsu. the fq evo is still on track, but they're having to make up for a lot of lost ground with base performance.

I suspect the -4WD- version of this car used the same Haldex system found in the Volvo V50 T5 AWD, Ford Kuga etc. it is good but not amazing. so they had to develop special 4WD for MK3 focus RS instead.
