The various screens looked kinda cool in the still pics I’d seen, but in video on my TV, the whole thing looks kinda cheesy. The themes with the clouds and the water etc are dumb. I don’t think this interior is going to age well at all.

Did I, or did I not hear that the European equivalent of the IIHS is seriously frowning on how these 'screens' are starting to get more blame for causing more collisions than the cell phone
Apparently those 'tech. screens' were brought in to make driving safer, now, there's proof that the opposite is happening, according to sources.

Way too much screen. It’s distracting, will be ridiculously expensive to replace if the windshield gets hit damaged, and overall just looks awful in my opinion. Put a 12 inch screen on or integrated on the dash, the normal digital guage cluster and be done with it. No one needs this mess to drive.

I love it. I’m a tech person. I want all the tech. This keeps the screen up close to the windshield. As long as the content on those screens isn’t capturing anyone’s attention for too long it seems fine to me.
This makes more sense than a street car with a sub 3 second 0-60 time.

Honestly my favorite instrument cluster in a long time. Not necessarily all the features, but it was perfect for line of site for both speed and map that head up display sometimes can’t get, especially with certain sunglasses or if you slouch randomly like I do.

I'm still worried about years down the road after the warranty period. Not the battery pack, it's all these screens and other gadgets. Will be a few more years before we find out how long this stuff lasts and cost of replacement for the second hand buyer.

This isn’t it. I’m just happy the euro safety board is looking to mandate buttons back into cars if those manufacturers want a high safety rating. Maybe that will spill over to the US so we can have just two screens; one infotainment and one gauge cluster.

It looks well-designed, and locating the screens so close to the windshield makes sense. Although I'm not sure the screens make driving any better than just having an instrument cluster, an infotainment screen, manual vents, and plenty of physical buttons.

No one has said anything, and it's early days. Letting Changan program Lincoln and letting SAIC program Buick is the best thing Detroit has done this century. If HQ doesn't know what to do with a brand let the people making a success of them take over.

Yes. Let's attract the driver's eyes way to the right instead of on the road. Jeep did it correctly by preventing the driver from peeking at the passenger's display. Frankly, just give me a conventional instrument cluster every time.

This is beautiful and interesting tech but it kinda just makes me miss when cars were actually about the driving experience even more. Tech always ages (and depreciates) quickly. A great driving vehicle doesn't.

My car has the typical two screens. I turn them off whenever possible. All I need is the speedometer and fuel. It makes for a more relaxing environment.

I’m fine with the maps but I’d rather use the rest of the screen real estate for augmented reality and blind spot or cross traffic cameras.
