APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: What's All The Hype About? (Science-Based) Michael Bowers: Jeff, I can appreciate the studies that you've cited and information that you've provided. I would submit that there are a couple of areas that could be further researched and explored. The effect that ACV has on the stomach and its digestive prowess. specifically in helping the stomach find optimal PH for digestion. This could account for many of the benefits. In addition, PECTIN can help with the growth of one's natural internal probiotics. I would suggest that ACV is more of a CATALYST that could help favorable biological processes to happen. I would also suggest, as with ANY food or supplement, that the SYNERGISTIC value of diet, exercise, intention/application along with ACV creates compounding momentum. (In other words someone who wants to just drink ACV but still eat crap and put in no exercise etc will NOT receive any benefits next to someone who simply uses ACV as another tool in the toolbox of becoming healthier and stronger) With all of that said: I've seen some anecdotal examples (some dramatic) that say that there is SOMETHING to ACV. Thanks for all of your research and hard-work. I look forward to every episode Take care

2: 06 Same benefit as eating an appleWith that logic, you can claim that eating earth is the same as eating an apple. Or that wood is the same as gasoline. Of course I could be wrong. So maybe i say that, i say nothing. Also, yeast is a bacteria. But you already know that. It is there poop and farts that smells to delicious. The mother is there dead or semi dead body. The reason why we like yeast is because the yeast growing in our body communicate with the yeast out side of the body. That is bro science. And yet easy to show. The mouth and anus communicate/is connected by the guts. And by the outside skin and the universe around it. Just like an earth worm. Thank you. Merry Christmas brother

Glad somebody went to the trouble of making this video. Its pretty obvious ACV is an over-hyped immediate solution product. And it tastes disgusting so I doubt many users would consume it over a long enough period to show they have actually lost weight. If you are over weight just reduce your meal size by 20%, ease up on frozen foods, high carb diets and and fizzy drinks and do moderate exercise 3 times a week. A 45 min walk is moderate for some people. And get plenty of sleep Too many people havent been educated to understand that exercise makes you feel, think and sleep better.

It's strange bc I had stomach issues and a hard time digesting food. I thought that type of issues was from acid, but no - turns out I had LOW stomach acid. I was told to put 2tbs with olive oil for my salads and this has really helped my digestion. I don't know what all the other hype is about, bc I've never had any issues like diabetes and I was not using this to lose weight, but I promise it'll really help you if your system is out of order due to being overly alkaline. I can now digest food that I could not digest before

Jeff I feel your research this time was not as extensive as usual. This one seemed more opinionated than anything. You could have touched on so many other aspects of using acv but didn't. What about it's effect on metabolism? I think surely that would have a part to play with weight loss. What about taking it on an empty stomach? My point is that if you don't have the research behind the topic then maybe you should leave the jury out instead of saying it's busted. Because apparently it works for a lot of people

I was on the understanding that the main benefit of apple cider vinegar was in the acid itself. As we age our digestive abilities become less effective. The acidic property aids the stomach in the breakdown of food stuffs which reduces the amount of undigested food mass left to ferment and cause bloating and gas. I was additionally informed that this should not be a silver bullet, but should also be used with fiber supplements and a probiotic. Is this also wrong Dr. Nippard?

I find it strange that you think the effect of the fermented mother would be just the same as that of an apple. Think it through. We know that many fermented foods, such as kimchi, live yoghurt etc strongly contribute to a more beneficial gut biome. Its the fermentation process An apple wouldn't do it. Just like with N Micro dosing of many things - its not about saying 'if the raw product has it then the residual will have it less' - Process is everything.

The results may be almost negligible and I often hear these people in other study groups weren't really exercising but dropped (up to) 4 pounds anyway. I will give this a shot as of today to help break through a 3+ week long plateau. We all know how frustrating those can be. It's insane how fast we can lost weight when really heavy but then all of a sudden at some point we have to no-life it at the gym/eat only rice cakes just to lose a single pound.

I eat fairly healthy, exercise daily, carry a low body fat percentage, all in all live your general healthy lifestyle but for some reason I always got heartburn. I could never figure out what foods caused it. Sometimes tomatoes, sometimes eggs, sometimes sweet potatoes but nothing was even consistent. I started taking 1 tbs of ACV every morning and it went away and has stayed gone for 6 months so I just roll with it and keep doing it.
