Get 20% Off the Body Pod by HUME (code: ALAIN) There are a few clear, measurable signs that tell you whether you’re actually gaining muscleor just gaining fat. And if even one of these signs is showing up, you might be moving in the wrong direction even if you think you’re doing everything right. My name is Alain Gonzalez, and I’ve coached thousands of men over 40, and the patterns are the same. Some guys gain muscle but most guys just gain weight. That’s exactly what I want to share with you in today’s video: 5 signs you’re gaining fat, not muscle. The sooner you catch them, the easier it is to fix. Man! Is that your wife on the bed Im 45yo, my main issue is not me it's my wife being overweight. I'm 5'10 at 205lb with a decent amount of muscle. I would say I'm 27%-30% B. F. which is still obese. But I think I'll be much healthier if my wife is that hot.

Ive been in a 1000 cal deficit since August and I have actually gained fat, no im not miscalculation calories. I did the same diet last Thanksgiving and lost 30lbs in 3 months. I have hypothyroidism but I take meds for it. Im not sure what else to do.

02: 58 research shows that weight gain in the form of fat tissue doesn't result in significant strength gains. What a big LOL! If fat gain resulted in increases in strength then most people in North America would be so strong!

Hi great vid but like all posters on you tube
Make sleep a priority but none of you give advice on what to do if anyone has a sleep problem they know it all ready so telling them again only makes it worse

What's a realistic monthly muscle gain in terms in weight
I'm used to sleeping 6-7 hours and feeling fully rested. Am I still losing more muscle than fat I can't imagine sleeping 8 hours long.

Tbh gains on the bench actually can happen just with increased body weight, just as losing weight can impact your lifts negatively, especially bench
