3 Supplements You Aren't Taking BUT Should Be (Not Sponsored) Luke Life: I am 16 years old, 187 pounds, work out quite a bit, bench 225 pounds for 5 to 6 times, Squat 328 pounds for 4, And Deadlift 352 pounds for 3 to 5 times. I am not the strongest or one of the strongest but what i am trying to say by my stats is that even though i intensely work out, however get pulled back by my school as in my school we are allowed to be in the gym for 40 minutes to 1 hour max a session and i try to go two times a day, working out 4 to 5 tines a weak, with 4 programmes, for back chest and shoulders, legs and arms if possible. I wanted to know if i can take the supplements that you recommended, because the labels on all of them says that they consider fir the product to be taken by healthy adults and/or 18 plus teens and I am 16 with my birthday being in summer.

1. Recommends whey protein. ok more bro science please. And using a premixed flavored version? Saccharine/Aspartame much? No thanks. 2. Caffeine, seriously. RE: Dallas Macarthur. thanks 3. Creatine, old hat, old news; makes zero difference - one extra rep doesn't count for anything in the scheme of things. If you want protein, use non dairy unflavored, like pea protein. The only other 'supplement' you may need is some type of all in one powdered greens, simply so you don't have to eat forty different vegetables a day on a tight schedule. If you're taking anything else while staying 'natty, ' you're failing with your diet or your exercise, not your additives. Come on Jeff, you should know better than the be on the bandwagon.

Anecdotally I have struggled with plantar fascitis for 4 months. I eat fairly healthy foods in general and supplement with fish oil and ginger tablets. Also I have off loaded the foot using special custom inlays and done alle the recommended physiotherapy. One week I decided to make my diet a lot more anti inflammatory - tripling fish oil intake and drinking, eating at least 100g of berries and drinking 3-4 green teas a day with plenty of fresh ginger and turmeric root and lime juice. Results: 3 days in the pain was down 80% and now one week in I am only just able to feel it. Turmeric and fish oil definitely. And ginger I might add

As someone that's trying to lose weight, I'd add 5-HTP to the list. I initially started taking it to help with depression/anxiety/mood, and while it does have some effect there, I find it really good at suppressing my appetite to the point that I'm able to extend my fasting periods to nearly 20 hours AND not overeat after that. As a side effect, it helps me care less about what would bros at the gym think of me, pathetically struggling to bench 1/5th of what they do on a good day. :)

Hey everybody So this video started out as a totally unscripted conversation between Ben and me (I didn't even let him know the questions ahead of time lol. which I think really speaks to his genuine knowledge base) but I decided to do something a little more creative with it. If you liked this shortened, more post-produced interview format, please let me know by commenting below As usual, all the relevant links are in the description. Enjoy

Important thing to note for fish consumption. As much as I try to get all my nutrients from food, Salmon is pretty hard to find wild. Most Fish at the markets and stores are all farmed, and if it is, DEFINITELY take more omega 3 supplements. 4-8 grams of omega 3 fatty acids a day (Along with good healthy omega 6's to balance the ratio) I found was very helpful for inflammation and recovery.

Tumeric can be a great supplement, but I'm dissapointed a very important bit of information about it was left outIt should be taken with black pepper if you want to actually absorb it allGo to examine. com and you can learn more. Basically take it with black pepper or your wasting your time, black pepper increases it's absorption by 2000%. Which is insane

Turmeric is about 3 per cent curcumin, so for each gram of turmeric you eat you only get 0. 03g of curcumin. Also curcumin in turmeric is not very bioavailable. This means we only absorb about 25 per cent of what we eat, so you might actually have to eat an insane amount, well over 100g of turmeric, every day, to get a reasonable dose of curcumin.
