I'm confused about calorie deficit. If I am at a stable weight, not gaining or loosing weight, but I'm fatter than I want to be, I should be in a calorie deficit to loose weight (fat. But once I get to a size and weight I prefer, won't going back to the amount of calories I ate before just pack on all the same weight? I've lost weight a few times (just by eating less in an unstructured disordered eating kinda way) and every time I started eating -normal- I just gained it all back. Are you supposed to -always- be in a calorie deficit?

Jeff, this is so good thank you. I bought your AX1 program and I-m making some good gains. I too I am struggling with lower back fat. I-ve lost 8% body fat, I-m down from 26 to 18 and feeling good. I-m thinking I need to get down below 10% to get the results I-m looking for. Athlean-X support (Daniel) through email has been really great too. Jeff, btw, you-ve got a great voice for these videos, how do you do it? I sound like a robot when I record something. Keep up with the amazing content, I-m hooked on your programs!

Was weighing 254 and now 198 lbs just doing things I learned from this guy. My shoulders are broader, my chest broader and its looking way better than before. Still having problems with the belly but is way flatter and doesn't hang no more like before. Wish I had a better workout plan but Ive not giving up. Neglected my body for so long so I expect it to take its time to get fixed. Be patient and embrace all the knowledge you can. -

Jeff: I think you are great in the lessons you teach. great knowledge and helpful direction to people of all fitness types. I appreciate the videos and enjoy watching and listening to your advice. But may I ask one favor: please get rid of the gum when you talk. it's distracting.

Well the one thing that I always do in the gym is I go until I feel the right feeling in the muscle, I always go very slow and methodical work outs. I also do it so I get everything out of doing these work outs, and I'm glad someone else is finally saying it. --

I-m very glad I saw this. I put together my own Ab & Obligue workout and I-m glad that their almost the same and it works. I-ve lost 30 lbs. and 4 inches off my waist. The only thing I have to add are the hanging twists. Thanks!

Thanks Jeff, I feel vindicated after watching this. I wasn-t allowed to do broomstick twists in the army, because they didn-t think it did anything. Add it to the list of things the military gets wrong about fitness.

to develop every muscle with maximum efficiency, I focus on trying get the longest stretch from origin to insertion as possible without causing any damage to the muscle and squeeze extra hard on the contraction.

For the obliques I-m doing the Landmine Wipers workout that I saw you do and I feel the burn in my obliques, that-s how I know it-s working. I-ll post back in 1-2 months for update on progress

Good video actually. Obviously this guy ain't a fan of burning fat through cardio, which is really number 1 for reducing the overall fat and exposing the area. But still. Good stuff as usual
