Random notes on first segment:
PCIe 5. 0 ratification: It'll probably double power consumption on the chipset again. Ready for 20-30W chipsets everybody?
People say PCIe 4. 0 isn't needed for gaming, but consider: PCIe 4. 0 x 8 lanes = PCIe 3. 0 x 16 lanes. So you can game at full speed while putting a PCIe 4. 0 M2 interface card in the 2nd shared 16 lane slot and have full speed graphics with mass quantities of PCIe 4. 0 SSD storage. Assuming anybody makes 8 or 16 lane PCIe 4. 0 M2 card. Can't mix PCIe signalling, so you'll need to be careful.
Intel desktop CPUs: who cares about the TDP.
AMD desktop GPUs: who cares about the TDP.
Intel performance uplift lower than expected? Maybe due to hardware mitigations for data leaks in CPUs that have hyperthreading enabled.

That's not really how Intel's 1 core turbo works. It's only when you have so little cpu activity that only 1 core has any significant load. This is basically impossible unless you manually enable core parking with registry edits or 3rd party apps and have nothing running in the background.
Without core parking windows will spread threads throughout as many cores as it can, which makes the 1 core turbo impossible to reach. With core parking windows will only put threads on an -ideal- number of cores for the workload. Tbh though, core parking reduces overall performance unless you make a lot of tweaks to hidden power plan ppm settings to make it use more cores. Most people will never see anything but 4-8 core turbo on a 9900k on default windows power plans.

How is Intel going to skip PCIe4 and go right to PCIe5, when they can't even get past 14nm, after they've been promising 10nm since 2010? You guys sound crazy. Steve mentioned how far behind on their roadmap Intel is, so they're going to make some huge leap forward out of the blue? F A N T A S Y! !! !! !! !! !! !! Also, maybe Intel needs to realize that GAMES aren't real world computing either, and AMD wipes the floor with Intel on multi-core functionality. So what's Intel's point? They are losing in every facet right now.

-ASRock is ready with its own mini-ITX motherboard based on the AMD X570 chipset, the X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX TB3. This tiny powerhouse one-ups other mini-ITX motherboards in its category by offering 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 connectivity over USB type-C, in addition to USB 3. 2. This Thunderbolt port also includes a DP pass-through from your discrete graphics card. - wish he would eat his hat. :) so is this real and did they bring this up again or is he trying to manipulate us all. i wonder would they

I watched the keynote, I didnt hear Lisa Su say the 15% was from Gen 1. Gen 2 was roughly 5 % over 1. If that's true it's 10% over Gen 2. Still good improvement. Don't forget IPC is just one improvement. 2x the floating point, PCIE 4, etc etc.
On 300 series boards, Science Studio has a video explaining. Its mostly about BIOS size. Not enough room left in most 300 series. In addition, it's up to vendors, not AMD if a specific motherboard gets a BIOS update or not.

Body language when X570 pricing came up, was ULTRA OFF the Charts -telling- by all 3, but especially Steve Burke, who is great IRL, tbh. Those I know IRL, the 4 folks I've talked to on X570/3700/3900x, are all very disillusioned with Pricing. 299 2700, 329 2700x 11 months ago. now? 3700 329$ USD, 3800x(2700x) 399$. OUCH. That's without a x570 mobo that's going to be 250 USD to 1300 USD. Cheaper B550? next spring!

If PCIe 4. 0 doesn't help speed GPUs very much, why would nvidia jump straight to PCIe 5. 0. especially if the cost of making motherboards handle PCIe 5. 0 increase even more than PCIe 4. 0? Is the pure marketing number 5. 0 versus 4. 0 really worth spending a lot more to create something that isn't any faster in practice (because data transfer bandwidth isn't the bottleneck?

a amd 7nm cpu matches a intel 14nm cpu, is this really a big win for AMD besides it being cheaper, it hasnt even been compared to a cheaper 8700k /8700 which basically has the same performance as 9900k especially if you overclock, think im more excited bout pci e 4. 0, nvme 5000 read speeds is insane

What this is a numbers game? Processors and GPUs did not win games! This skill set of the gamer wins the game's! A few FPS is not gonna make any difference! Go AMD for price to performance ratio.
