Pedro from PCMR gets the PC quiz
video description
I also thought about going the Mac (Macbook Pro) route a while back. However, Macs are overly expensive for no reason. The hardware on a Mac is outdated and not very powerful AT ALL! It's sad when a $1200 gaming laptop or tower PC is more powerful than a $6000-7000 Mac. The inability to game on a Mac, or do anything useful outside of the scope that Apple has set for the Mac (photo/video/music editing) severely hinders why I would need (or want) to buy one. I just don't see the reason to waste money on a machine that is limited in its usefulness to me.
Tablets have a whole different set of issues. The games, and gaming in general, on a tablet is very limited. Sure you have some very simple and addictive games, like Candy Crush, but that is about it. Touchscreens are terrible for playing serious games. Plus a tablet is even more limited in what it can do than a Mac, which is terrible. You can't get any real work done on a tablet, even if you could find a tablet app that was anywhere near as powerful or as useful as its PC counterpart. Tablets are great throw away devices or companion devices (to a PC. Plus a large phone kind of negates the need for a tablet.
All of these niche devices and the Mac (which is technically a niche device itself) which were supposed to replace the PC failed to do so because they are expensive and because they are niche devices. In the end, a low cost general purpose device will beat an increasingly expensive niche device nearly every time.

Idk how the debate of PC being the best option is still on going. without the PC we would not have consoles, a large portion of the actual console design work is done on PC or workstation, all the game creation for consoles is done on a PC or work station and all the logos graphical art and things of that nature are generated on a PC or workstation

Console players -hate- him. He created an army of 2. 6m Reddit followers to spread hate speech against the -obviously- superior Playstation 4 with one simple trick. Click here to learn the truth.
That looks like a great Polygon/Kotaku catch title.

-Now, I don't want to trigger console-players-, somehow I am not 100% convinced of that. :)
I rarely saw two gentlemen agree that much.
