So I have a SP4 and I still love it, obviously with it being 3 years old the battery life isn't what it used to be though I can still get 5+ hours out of it. The thing that I notice the most about it is the off axis screen viewing like when it's flat on a table. The Pro 4 always had a significant shift in perceived brightness and I'm wondering if the 6 has that. I went to look in the store but it was hard to tell under the bright store lights. Thanks if anyone has insight on this.

From a surface pro 4 i5 8gb owner, I like that you also included alternative upgrades other than the newer surfaces
Has nothing to do with this video but I just finished having a phone call with microsoft and they will send me a replacement model bc unfortunately my surface pro 4 has been hit with -flickergate-, hopefully the replacement model is in good shape in terms of battery life and most importantly, the display

Hi I have a surface pro 4 i5 128 GB and looking for a better model. Especially for using Illustrator on it. Now I like to go for the surface pro 6 i7 model and more RAM. Around - 1800 for that model. In the shop they also sell a showroom model of the pro 5, but i7, 1TB and 16 RAM for only -1000. Is the -800 worth it or not?

You should compare similarly spec-ed 5th vs 6th gen Surfaces (ie i7 vs i7 with same amount of RAM; and i5 vs i5) otherwise you can keep talking about the color of the back and it'll be the most useful info we got; )

I'm a new owner who was debating between pro 5 and 6, the price difference is $170 I end up keeping pro 6, not for cpu performance gain but for over 2 hour longer battery life. I had both running movies over and over under sames screen light level, pro 6 last 13hours 45 minutes, pro 5 last 11hours 15 minutes.

Everyone knows that it will most probably not be worth upgrading from one cycle to the next immediate one. For ex SP4 to SP6 sure go ahead. But SP2017 to SP6? Not so much. I dont own any Surface yet but I'll probably wait for SP7 considering the minute differences from (5) to 6

I have the Surface pro 4 and love it except that it has the hardware glitch that makes the screen flicker and there's no fix for it. Is it worth it to just upgrade to a SP6 rather than trying to get a previous generation?

Much more useful review, seeing how it compares to other devices and ones in its own line up really helps. I have a Pro 4 and yes for day to day work and non-rendering stuff the Pro 4 is still running great.

I-m a little confused. At about 4: 15, you say that the surface pro 2017 has significantly stronger graphical capabilities, but then u say in terms of graphics that the surface pro 6 is 40% stronger?
