Thank you very much for your informative instructions! I just followed the steps and created a Pivot Table for the inventory of my small business. However, some items in my Inventory sheet do not match the items in my Pivot Table. I cannot figure it out what went wrong. For example, some quantities of an item in my Inventory sheet are zero after being sold out. But in my Pivot Table, this sold-out item still remains great than zero numbers. I found this error by noticing the discrepancies of the inventory value between the Inventory Sheet and the Pivot Table. Can you advise how I can correct this error, please? Thank you very much!

What a short but comprehensive intro to pivot tables man. - I like your to the point way of describing things. I am currently struggling with countifs. They are very expensive in terms of computation. I think pivot tables will solve this problem. I ll give it a try.

very helpful . very easy to learn excel for my switch over. i just need few doubts. i am using in excel in online but in pivot table i am not getting data and analyse button. whether i have to go to premium only i can get that ?

On my excel doesn't want to work on the same Sheet. If it does makes one is void of data. It only works on another Sheet. Destination Reference not valid if select the current sheet

I dont know why when i drag the price into the values field and turned it into -sum-, the values changed to zero- Do you know why it happened that way?
