I'll second the other posters that say use it every day - as your primary OS. Problems you run into are a good thing - those are excellent opportunities to learn while working through them - remember that and don't get frustrated. I've immersed myself in Linux over the past few months and consider myself a pretty moderately advanced user by now (though I'm was already an advanced DOS/Windows user so that helped.) Have done several Arch and a few Kubuntu installs on several computers ranging from ancient to fairly modern, each bring their own challenges. I'm a glutton for punishment so I started with Arch, but that turned out to be a good idea as I've learned a lot.

I hope that Chris covers something that many people have wanted and searched for in Linux communities, is how to setup a Mail Server for Linux. I'd love to move away from Gmail and just host a mail-server at home. It'd be nice to know how to setup rules that process mail as it is incoming ... like send political mail to trash, etc. Does anyone have ideas on how to do this? Could someone point me to a step-by-step document or video? I looked and many of them are Indian where people are hard to understand. Thanks.

Just installed Kubuntu on my old works laptop and so far so good (at this moment in time downloading new all the updates in Discover, that's how early on in the process I am). I wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't for your excellent and informative videos such as this! Thanks for the work you've put in and who knows, maybe Linux of some flavour will eventually go on my daily driver.

The other day I had to look for a how-to on install some drivers on debian. Don't remember if I solved it by watching one of your videos, but the first thing I thought was to do so. Maybe seems like a random thought, but I thinks it speaks volumes to the work you put here that my first choice was to search through your videos. Keep them coming, we'll keep learning

-DARN IT CHRIS...-
-You're really pushing me, to WANT to learn Linux.-
-I'm planning a RYZEN 4000 series build in the future. I was fortunate enough to get a RYZEN 7 1700 running on Windows 7, but for the new one I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about going onto Zorin.-

In my opinion the best way to learn linux is to take whatever computer you have and use on a regular install a flavor of linux and completely get rid of Windows. When you make it your only option you learn to install it, operate it, and maintain it.

Just recently realized that the other main source of Linux videos I watch is also called Chris. Uncanny! Thus, I will affectionately refer to each of you as American Chris, and British Chris.
chriswere if anyone's interested

Is there a paperback version of the Arch Wiki, or the Arch manual? I'd like something that I don't have to read on my tiny phone screen while installing. And I just prefer paper books for learning new things in general.

I don't have a foundation nor back ground in IT, I'm pretty much starting from scratch and I want to learn linux, where should I begin? I just signed up for Linux acadamey and I have no idea which course to take.
