A cooler I would love to see you guys review. Jonsbo 2000gt. It was a 25 dollar (on sale) dual tower cooler, looked a lot like my d14. But with argb fans. For 25 dollars, it has been simply awesome. Running custom settings on a 5800x and it's holding up pretty well. 87c max is what I'm finding, which as a reference, I ran the same cpu with an A500 and it was maxing out at 83c on the same setup.
The weak point of the jonsbo is the fans. Switching out the Jonsbo fans for even cheaper fans like a Montec af120, and it dropped the temp down several degrees. Still an awesome cooler for me for 25 bucks. Running an overclock on a 5800x (albeit some custom ppt settings), is still pretty good!

Microcenter is building my PC today. If this had been an option, I may well have picked it over the Noctua D15 based upon price. The probable is that they have had a hard time getting and keeping dual fan, dual tower air coolers. So while I would have gladly taken a Noctua Chromax, Fuma 2 or Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro, they weren't an option. I don't want a water cooling solution. So why wouldn't I pay 90 for this if it was the only dual/dual air cooler? The other choice was waiting on my build, but then something else would have gone out of stock, as has been the case over the last 2-3 months. What am I missing?

Would you consider testing some Thermalright coolers such as the Frost commander 140, Le Grand Macho or the Silver Arrow IB-E Extreme?
I remember back in the C2Duo C2Quad days Thermalright were on top with the Ultra Extreme 120 and the IFX-14 which had a mini cooler for the back of the cpu socket, I had both. Wondering if they still live up to their old reputation out of nothing more than curiosity. Haven't seen any of their stuff in years but the website shows some interesting looking coolers.

Two things about this that I like. 1) the subtle 'arrows' that indicate fan and air flow direction molded into the fan frame. 2) the fully boxed fan frames. That looks really nice to me. I hope they make an all black, _Stealth_ version, but I won't hold my breath. Overall a very nice cooler. I'm getting a 5700X and will need a cooler, so great timing for this video. Would like to see more cooler reviews before the April release of the last AM4 CPUs. Thank you.

I wonder why no cooler company brings coolers to market with very high fin density and a fanduct so that the airflow gets funneled into the fins without bypass. If the fans are directly on the fins, area like behind the motor hub is not utilised. With a fanduct, it is. I imagine this could bring more performance and lower noise, as the turbolence of the blades are not hitting diretly on the fins, if the fan is at a distance from the fins.

Running my 12700k on a NH-D14. I think I'm going to blow the budget and go full loop.
Thr NH-D14 is the predecessor to the D15. Not sure the thermal difference. Also not even sure I'm using the fans it came with, they are brown and noctua but it's been so many years. Also no longer have the fan mounting brackets and used loose wire to affix them.
All in all the D14 runs the 12700k in games at a silent level. I'm just bored.

Impressive. I didn't expect it to do so well after seeing the contact patch on AMD CPU's. Might even do a little better if it could get some better contact on those two outer edges. Of course, it looks like it might be enough to cover both the cores and the I/O die, so the improvement might be marginal. Either way, the performance speaks for itself. Pretty good for a cooler in that price range. If only it came in black.

Do you guys have upcoming AIO reviews as well? If not, since you guys are already doing budget-focused coolers, I kinda wanna request you guys to check out the budget AIOs and see if they actually are decent or if people should just stay away from it, specifically ID-Cooling Zoomflow 240X, Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L, or Enermax Liqmax III 240 which all seem to be at around 75 right now

While it would increase consumer cost, pairing the best fans with the best tower. Looking forward to your fan testing machine coming online. I personally set my case fans to 100% and my GPU fans to 80%. I do not mind the louder whooshing from my GPU. It's a 1080Ti, so several years old. I do not hear my Noctua case fans at 100%, but my computer is 6 feet away.

From LI-NY-US and couldn't ( 2020-ish) find a Fuma 2 for less than 90 us for whatever reason. So I have a Shadow Rock 3 190 Watt big square low restriction (50 )
It's OK and in a Fractal Torrent; but the 85-90 C is fine Boost temps make me flinch.
Old machine was dual sandy bridge Xeon WS 110 Watts per socket never got above 70 C
