The nights at the log cabin in the Canadian wilderness are getting cold, below freezing, and the water inside the wine and whiskey barrels will start to freeze, expand and bust the wood planks if I don't remove the water. Cali, our golden retriever dog, is perplexed by the sound of the water draining out of the oak wine barrel and tries to capture whatever is making the strange noise from underneath the barrel. I answer some viewer questions, like why do I char (burn) the wood that I'm building with, including the roof of the main log cabin, the base of the posts for the forest kitchen and the woodshed and the bottom logs of the log cabin bathhouse and sauna. Will I put in a wind turbine to generate electricity for the computer and filming equipment?

I typically am not signed in YouTube because
I greatly dislike YouTube's algorithms. But I am
willing to make an exception since you are
an expert at reverse psychology.
Also the irony is that when you have videos about
off-grid items, perhaps the people watching
are more off-grid than yourself.

I just getting on board in the last couple of weeks I'm trying to catch up with past videos. No questions just in awe of all you do and with the ease you do it. My husband, back in the day, was a master of so many things and I marveled at his knowledge that we don't know where it came from, it was innate just as a lot of your talents are.
