Log cabin Door Handle Pizza in the Forest Growing Food in the Wilderness

With an axe and other hand tools, I bushcraft a wooden door handle for the rustic door on the off grid log cabin that is my sauna, bathhouse in the forest. For dinner, I make pizza from scratch and bake it on my DIY earthen pizza oven that I built last year from sand and clay. It's late spring and I finally hack out a clearing in the forest to grow fruit and vegetables, the next step in my long path to self reliance

You just keep amazing me. Are you into Permaculture? When you started talking about hugelkultur you got my attention. Very cool. Get those guilds started! Awesome. Are you thinking about swales to make use of topography as well? I know in another video you mentioned quail. Bird poop is great to mix with sawdust for a good carbon to nitrogen ratio for your mounds. Best place to store water is in the ground!

I love that door. the bark really makes the glass stand out, are you going to put a door like that on your cabin, I think it would make the two buildings match up and look beautiful. Wow that's a great pizza knife, did you make it and did you do a video on it? What's the lovely music you play on your videos Shawn?

I love the setting and how you work. I respect and admire that. But your food looks more delicious than mine. and considering you are in the middle of nowhere and I'm in a kitchen with a freezer and everything one could wish for. that's just simply all the good kinds of wrong!

Little pizza trick. When you are ready to put the pizza on the peel lift on area of the dough an blow a little air under it. It will make it easier to get on the peel without messing up the form of the pizza getting it on. Love the videos. still trying to catch up.

Dear Shawn, why don't buy some chicken to live around you and they can support you with meat and eggs. They can feed themselves from the jungle around you.
