I've said this in other videos and I'm gonna say it again hoping you read this. Your cabin is very beautiful I love how you created it. But for your wife's sake I'd make it a little bigger. This way your family and friends can come and visit you and you'll have more room for stay overs like the holidays or just because they miss you. I'm sure your house was bigger and your wife loves you very much so you two sold it so she could live your dream with you. Even though she is likeing it also, I'm sure she misses home. So make the cabin bigger so it'll seem more like a house and she wont feel closed in. Plus family and friends can come and stay. Trust me on this I'm a female and I know what females like. Just thinking out loud. But your building skills is very professional your very good at it. God Bless you and your family. Pss. I absolutely love your dog, very smart and sweet and very beautiful.

Hey, Shawn! Just going back, re-enjoying some of your older posts! Really appreciate your vision and example! What an inspiration! My wife and I did cringe at your climbing that light wobbly aluminum ladder, simply leaned against that tree, though! Thats a compound fracture, looking for a place to happen! We know! We have exactly that t-shirt from what looks like the very same ladder. We live in town, so neighbors and an ambulance came to our rescue. That was a bad day. Unless Bigfoots an EMT, wed recommend setting that ladder and its legs, as it was designed.

I am very curious that you used single layer sheet metal chimney instead of the double layer and I dont see you ever mentioned ventilation for avoidance of carbon monoxide poisoning. Will carbon monoxide poisoning be an issue inside a closed cabin even if you are burning wood only and not burning coal or propane gas?

Keep up the great work makes me think of my sons log cabin in a way but his was more up to today I didn't mind it cause after a long hard days of work for him he found Moma had done a lot for him there soup looks great Cali is just trying to keep your chair warm for you thanking you for the bone she got that day!

I like the red, swivel easy chairs. They can likely be cleaned outdoors in Spring with hand-held, battery-powered vacuum and baking soda and/or white vinegar.
