My own hand made products! Check them out here: www. grankvist-outdoors. com I hand-craft all these wooden products myself. I can only make a few at a time, so you have to be first to buy one when a new batch is released. They are all made from hard nordic oak, making them extremely durable, holding up for a lifetime of abuse. I was told that my dream of selling handmade products wouldn’t work in today's world where everything is mass produced. I want to prove them wrong. My goal is to expand into other handmade products eventually. Making a series of lifetime quality handmade goods. Breaking free from mass production, supporting our environment. So check out my website: --------- This is my gear that I use to make these videos possible: My main camera: My second camera: My lens: My drone: These amazon links are affiliate links. By using these links I earn a small fee from your purchase, it does NOT cost you anything extra. Thank you for your support and be creative with your new gear! Thank you Stevie Antoniou Media for editing this video!

Depends on the wood species.
(age, density, rate of consumption)
I'd guess each of those unsplit sections toward the beginning of the upload is probably good for about 36 hours.
That's taking into account, more during the day, less at night.
2 nights & 1 day.
Don't forget to keep the air humidity up by letting water simmer over the fire. Your immunity depends on your sinuses being able to wash the airborne viruses down the back of your throat & being destroyed in your stomach acid.
Dry sinuses can create an infection causing you to breathe in fluids causing Bronchitis.
Not only that but humidity makes it feel warmer allowing for less wood consumption!

About 2 years ago, my daughter stopped at my house while I was watching one of your videos, and it was amusing to see her focus very intently while you were performing some task. Considering that I think you're orders of magnitude better than her boyfriend in terms of character, willingness to work, resourcefulness, and effectively every other metric that can be applied to a person, it didn't bother me at all. I wish she had found someone of your caliber first.

Always look forward to a new upload Erik. The firewood dome and gym both look awesome! I don't feel using the power tools is a big deal because the house was the main project by hand and you did that just as you said you would.
Wish you luck on getting a crew together to help with getting your products up and running again. All the best to you my friend!

I haven’t popped in to watch one of your videos in a while, but it’s wild to see how you’ve grown. I remember your first videos, you tapping birch trees, and not having a lick of work done towards your cabin. You’ve gone so far and I’m happy to have been a part of it, and been there to watch your videos along the way

Nice to see you stacking the firewoot the correct way, so the water pours out of the pile. Many do the oposite.
I've never used a tarp or used those flat cut pieces. I guess it depends but I never saw a need for that, nor for the reinforcment with sticks.
Good job ower all, not exactly as I would have done it though

Hello Erik, You never cease to amaze me. On Your wood building capabilities are remarkable. I like your circular wood palette. It looks amazing Great job. And also you're outside gym is so nice. So looking forward to your next video. I enjoy watching them so much. Good luck on your next adventures on building things.

Your talent in video-making is on a par with your artistry in wood. The round firewood dome looks superb but maybe it would be more practical in future to have a firewood shed. You could always do an exhibition firewood dome from time to time. Maybe after the log store you could do a sauna

You know I've watched your videos for a while now and only just noticed your last name. You have the coolest and most unique last name I've ever seen. Its one of those names that would go well with titles like Baron, king, etc in some story or something.

I had three guesses, none of them was a gym. Maybee it will take care of the loss of musclemass you are showing.
Just kidding!
Love your attitude to what's important in life. And it's often not what most of us think nowadays.
Have a good life!

HI, and thanks! I've been following you since your first video and I really appreciate your great skill. I have a curiosity, I hope I'm not too indiscreet but. Why an outdoor gym and not a bathroom/toilet/shower or similar in your beautiful log cabin
reply

Wonderful video kind sir. As usual, I'm so impressed by your skills and execution of these projects. Watching these videos is so engaging but relaxing too. I also laughed at 06: 55 when your dog stared at the camera like what are you looking at haha

The 'firewood dome' is certainly much more aesthetically pleasing than a shed would be but, eh, no idea the time necessary for it versus using a shed etc. Perhaps you need to build a barn for storing wood and all the other stuff that will accumulate.

You are so talented. Would love to see you design and build your own small kitchen area across from fireplace and design and build a front porch. Now that you have lots of wood for the winter, time to work on the inside of cabin too: ) from

Great photography in this video! Thanks for all the video of your wonderful dog. If I can share a safety tip - make sure you have a significant first aid kit close by, including a tourniquet, bandages, and quick clot just in case the axe slips.

To all those young men going to the gym and taking steroids, which seems all too common now, this is how you build real muscle and fitness. Try it, nothing better than some physical work out in nature, but better yet a gym in the woods!

I wish my oak tree would split that easily. I like the eave or overhang on the outside of your wood dome. The tarps let the water run down the side. With the outside pieces sloped inward the water runs in to the center of the pile.

I remember when you were just a teen. You put up a tent and went to work! You trekked for miles to get to your future cabin site though every season for years. I always marveled how your skill level was so exceptional!

Erik. I love your dog. When you see him, you just want to hold him. Your films are beautiful. I love that there is no music. That would spoil it. I think that must be hard work filming on your own. Respect.

I just don't understand why it was necessary to chop down so many live trees for the sake of a pallet for storing firewood Any forest is full of fallen trees in the wind, so as not to kill living trees!
