Eating Thai street food in Bangkok is one of the most incredible and rewarding things you can possibly do when you visit the city Street food is available everywhere you look and there's never a shortage of meals to eat and things to snack on. In this Thai food video, I take to the streets of Ramkhamhaeng, an area of Bangkok that has an amazing array of authentic Thai street food and also includes a cool little Thai market. On Soi 29 (street 29, there's an abundance of stalls serving takeaway Thai food as well as sit down street style restaurants. One of my favorite choices is a little Isaan food restaurant that serves an extensive Thai food menu that covers some of the best Isaan dishes available. Along with eating the authentic Thai street food, I'll show you exactly how you can order the same dishes exactly how you want them. Here's what I ordered during this meal: 1. Som Tam Thai ) - This is the very popular Thai green papaya salad dressed in lime juice and fish sauce. It's an outstanding dish to try in Thailand and is one of the most widely available dishes on the Thai food menu By the way, in the video I ordered my Sam Tam with 'prik ha met ( 5, ' meaning 'with 5 chillies. ' You can change the 'ha (5)' to another number if you like. 1 - neung, 2 - song, 3 - sam, 4 - see, 5 - ha, etc. 2. Larb Pla Duk ) - One of my favorite Thai street food dishes is salad made with spicy roasted catfish. The catfish is deboned and mixed with a handful of other delicious Thai spices to make it fantastic 3. Nam Tok Moo ) - Grilled pork neck is sliced up and dressed with a delicious dressing that includes fish sauce and lime juice. This Thai dish off the menu works great for dipping your sticky rice in I ordered it mai man, meaning without fat. You can learn how to order your Thai food just the way you want it 4. Yam Ruam Mit Talay ) - A popular Thai street food to eat is a mixed mung bean noodle salad. The clear noodles are often mixed with your choice of seafood and and then are nicely flavored with lime juice. 5. Tom Saap Sekong Moo ) - To round out a complete Thai meal, it's necessary to have a soup along with your other dishes. At this Thai food market I enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup flavored with pork ribs Make sure you also eat your Thai street food meal with sticky rice or plain white rice: Sticky Rice - Khao Neow ) Plain Rice - Khao Suay ) After you finish your Bangkok street food feast be sure to get the bill by saying gep dtang. Thai Bangkok Isaan food feast cost me just 240 THB - 5 dishes, 2 sticky rice, 1 plain rice, 1 water bottle, 1 bucket of ice all for less than 8 USD Thanks for watching this Bangkok street food video from the Thai food market in Ramkhamhaeng and I really wish you the ultimate Thai food dining experience while you visit Bangkok

But you need to hop your butt over to Laos and taste our food, some say Laos food is the best in the world and where do you think Thai get their influences from, just saying. If you do decide to try it out please let me know how it when or better yet posted it on here. duh: )

If you order at the tabke i think it is really difficult to know what to order for an foreigner? Greetings from germany: ) and thanks to your videos i'm soooo excited to go again to thailand and enjoy a lot of that delicious food

Spoons and fork had nothing to do with Colonialism. Spoon has existed in South East Asia has had spoon before Siam was even founded. But you always see people using all kind of technologies from everywhere around the world, it's normal everywhere. Plus there's no need for you to pass this unnecessary hatred message in this amazing video.

In Thailand call som tam thai and som tam poo. - som tam thai to enter a dried shrimp, peanut. don't have a crab. - som tam poo to enter a crab, don't have dried shrimp, peanut. You can mix 2 kind of som tam, It's call ' som tum thai poo 'sorry for my grammar but i want to tell you. I'M THAI.

Som Tam is the Central Thai name for Papaya salad. It is thought to have originated in Laos or Northeastern Thailand. In these area the dish is called Tam Maak Hoong. So if you want to eat the Thai variant with peanuts and dried shrimp, you should ask for Som Tam Thai just to be sure.

Mark mate you are the best when it comes to presenting that Thai food has to offer. The scrumptious dishes, typical Thai sweet, sour, salt absolutely awesome. Keep those videos coming Mark, you're making me hungrier and hungrier for Thai food everytime i watch your vidz.

95% of Thai dishes are from India or China and the other 5% you got on that table are Thai dishes and i think it's horrible but don't get me wrong that's just my opinion i just cant stand it. It smells rotten and taste like chili with something else not for me lol
