In Yangshuo, one of the more popular forms of street food is bowl of boiled noodles and vegetables. You first get to choose all the ingredients you want to add to your bowl and then she will put it all into a boiling pot of soup and a few minutes later something delicious will emerge

I have stayed in Tokyo a night or two on my way to other countries in Asia. I have never taken the time to actually EXPLORE Japan because I never had the interest in Japanese culture nor the people. You have made it look very interesting and I will take my family for least a week to explore Japan and see some of the things that you have pointed out in this video. Thank you for inspiring me to get to see more of Japan. Excellent work and CARRY ON

My goodness, dogs are only eaten by very small percentage of people in China (it is a huge, diverse country after all. Most people, including me, have never tasted it. Also, why would you feel sorry for your pet dogs? The dogs that are eaten are raised on farms - stealing pets (and yes, people are raising pet dogs in China which is contributing to decline of dog meat consumption) is a prosecutable crime in China.

the prices of these street market foods in asia are so good compared to the quality of the food. if you want to live like a king make a pretty good amount of money in the US and retire in asia or somewhere in a small town in africa. You could buy a mansion and an entire staff of butlers for the same price as owning a tiny condo in new york

Haha, but dog can be so good No, I didn't avoid meat because of sanitary purposes, but just because I really like vegetables. Also I'm not really a fan of processed meats. like hot dogs, but prefer real pieces of meat if I'm going to eat meat. But I really love the bean curd, that's almost like meat. What part of China are you from?

I'm an American, teaching English in China. I taught in S. Korea, too. A lot of my students tell me that Chengdu, Sichuan Province is a great place to go for food. But considering that you're 1/2 Chinese, perhaps your relatives have already told you that.

As an Expat living in China, (Guangzhou, I can say street food is not the rage here. Compared to other Asian countries like Thailand and Korea. Most of the locals think the food is too dirty and don't want to eat it.
